Aside from the thoughtfully curated points of art, antique, and design interest throughout this Lower Pac Heights haven, the best feature of this space is the incredible natural light throughout. Perhaps, the light is so lovely, because it is the home base of a traveled, design forward photographer who values the importance of a well lit, visually harmonious space. If you are looking for an inspiring, peaceful, and design forward habitat where natural, coastal colors meet industrial charm, you have come to the right place. The high ceilings are extremely inviting for a commercial photo or video shoot, and the back sun room is waiting to serve as the next spot for dreaming and scheming at your next offsite meeting. The repurposed wooden meeting table transforms a traditionally rigid "conference room" environment into a thoughtful, adult clubhouse, complete with sheepskin throws and Japanese paper lanterns juxtaposed overhead. The kitchen space is a collection of flea market gems, with a unique checkered floor and a repurposed vintage fan fixture overhead, illuminating an impressive collection of vintage cheese graters on the wall. Another wonderful aspect of this space is that there are two living rooms, one with massive French doors that open to the bedroom, where there is a working fireplace. The majority of the space is white but not stark, with eye catching statements everywhere you turn, including a skylight. Overall, this is truly a gem to marvel at, and certainly San Francisco at its best, reminding us that our domains are our most personal and reflective works of art. Each room plays it's own unique character in a domestic corroboration that is nothing short of brilliant.
No smoking or open flames It's okay to temporarily move some things around, if needed, but please leave the space as you found it. The backyard downstairs is off limits, because it is a shared/community space.
