Well suited for elegant receptions and other large-scale events, this bright and airy space encompasses the entire upper level of the building streaming daylight in from multiple angles. The Ballroom is a blend of luxury and industrial chic: wide plank oak floors, brick and board-formed concrete walls, leather-wrapped columns, blackened steel, and massive old-growth timber. Amenities include a fully equipped prep kitchen, modern ADA compliant rest rooms, and state-of-the-art AV equipment with two retractable screens. The Ballroom is connected to the Courtyard, a landscaped oasis accessible through a large glass roll-up door. Host will work with guests and forward to Peerspace Concierge with anything else. SECURITY DEPOSIT Please note that a security deposit will be required in the form of a check or wire transfer, (the “Security Deposit”) directly to Block 41 60 days prior to your event date. Block 41 will return the Security Deposit to within 15 days after your event date; provided that, after the event, Event Host Parties/Clients vacate and surrender the venue in the same or substantially the same condition as it was prior to the event date. If any excessive cleaning is necessary (above and beyond the basic cleaning service provided by Block 41) or any repairs to the venue are necessary as a result of Event Host’s/Client's use of the venue, Block 41 will apply the security deposit (if any) to such cleaning and repair costs and Event Host/Client shall promptly pay to Block 41 any deficiency.
No smoking inside the venue but there is an outdoor courtyard where smoking is permitted. No confetti cannons. Guests must provide a COI with the venue added as an additional insured. Other than that, we are pretty flexible and accommodating! If you wonder, just ask.
This space has a lot going for it; the dedicated staff, the flexible and easily accessible building and the central location in Seattle. The staff - Jordan is a phenomenal events manager and it was a pleasure to work with her. The space - we used it as a corporate conference space and our experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Block41!
