At nearly 2,000 square feet, this hall is a theater-styled space with antique chandeliers, 19th century wood framing, and plenty of rustic charm. Decorated in the Russian-style, this space also has floor-to-ceiling curtains along its walls, which closes and converts the space into a neutral black box. Conveniently located at W86th Street and Amsterdam Ave, it is deal for staged readings, classes, performances, receptions, fundraising galas, and other events. Please note this is a second-floor walk up and there are no elevators in the building.

Our school loved having our vocal recital at this space! The piano was well-tuned, there was plenty of seating for attendees, and the lighting was great. We would definitely come back for another one.

The space was perfect, and they accommodated our event beautifully. We held a piano recital for mostly younger students, and the parents were wowed by the space. Di was an excellent, kind host, and was on site to help with anything that we needed. Very appreciative of the space and experience.

I found this theater space through peerspace during the pandemic and I was so happy to have my musical reading produced on this stage. Di was so quick getting back to me for every single question I had. It was also great working with Aleksey who knew everything about the theatre (props, lighting, sets, etc.) so having him there we had no trouble. I highly recommend this very cute theatre!

The host Di and Aleksey were amazing and very accommodating! Di is friendly and down to earth. Aleksey is cool and calm but works very hard to make sure you have everything you need. They helped us out tremendously and was very generous with their time. The space is beautiful, spacious and has a lot of character. It has everything you need to put on various types of events (lights, ability to have music etc). And the cherry on top is Di's puppy Oscar, he's awesome. I would recommend this space and would book again.

What an amazing space for a classical concert. This was a beautiful and intimate place for a performance of Bach. The marble and chandeliers were a nice complement to the stage with well-tuned piano. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
