Located steps from the 28th Street entrance of the High Line, and nearby the Javits Convention Center, the 2,000 sq. ft. space is home to a non-profit gallery featuring a range of contemporary artworks and is great for parties, meetings, workshops, and anything in between! Open and beautifully lit with two large arched windows and brand new track lighting, the front gallery space (39’7” x 24’1”) and back gallery space (28’4” x 10’9”) have 11’ceilings and hardwood throughout. A 7’x 18’ space immediately outside the gallery, used to exhibit experimental public art installations, can be used for check-ins or spill over space. On the 5th floor of a landmark building, the venue is handicap accessible with large elevators. Comfortably accommodating 75 standing, 50 audience style seating and 25 table seating. PLEASE NOTE: We have pre-determined art exhibitions scheduled each month. Therefore, we cannot accommodate requests that require blank wall space (i.e. art shows), as we cannot remove the art that is being exhibited.
Food and beverages (including alcohol) are permitted. However, due to the high value of artwork, we kindly request that no red wine is served as is customary for all art galleries to protect the art. Outside event items must be dropped off/taken away the same day. Large Freight elevators are available for use. Art Exhibitions cannot be removed. Exhibitions change monthly based on a predetermined schedule. No smoking. Trash should be placed in the bins and the host will take care of the rest. All rentals include set up and tear down time. COI required for businesses. Please note: there is an additional $40/hour fee (for building doorman/security) for any part of an event that falls outside of the building’s hours. The building hours are as follows: Monday-Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 9am-6pm Thursday: 9am-8pm
