A design-conscious retreat with an expansive mountain view. The guest house honors form + function equally, with solid brass fixtures, a copper bartop, naturally patinaed steel exterior, stained concrete floors & a reclaimed wood platform bed. Vintage cotton, white Matteo linens and curated modern + vintage elements, blend to cultivate a space of rest, reflection & creative flow. Within easy walking distance of Noah Purifoy's outdoor art museum & installations from the Desert X exhibition, the space is ideal for the art-minded soul. Both the interior and exterior space are available for the production. An on-site manager can be made available upon request. Ample parking is available on site.
No smoking and no pets, please and thank you. WiFi Do realize that services like WiFi are not always as reliable in the desert as in the city, so we appreciate your understanding. Heating and AC The heater and AC are via a mini-split system that is on a remote control. Under MODE, the sun icon is for heat and the snowflake icon is for cold air. There is also a separate heater in the bathroom to make sure you stay toasty and warm. Septic System We don’t have a sewer system here. My little septic system cannot accommodate any foreign objects being thrust into its fragile world, so toilet paper only, please. Trash There are two trashcans in the guest house and a recycle bin, as well as two bins outside around the back side of the main house, near where you parked in case you happen to need them. One is for recycling and one is for trash: they are clearly labeled. Any trash you put into the outside trash bin, please put into a bag and tied closed. Access You will receive a code to open & lock the front door prior to your booking date. Please treat this space with as much kindness and consideration as you would hope a visitor visiting your own home would do for you.
