PARKING: Please be aware that because of our location, parking can sometimes be tricky, during busy times we suggest parking in the Ed Coy garage directly across the street, if you do this we can validate 30 minutes worth of your stay there. While there is the rare un-metered spot, if you decide to not utilize the parking garage we reccommend coming prepared with change or the park app (so you don't have to keep going back to your meter during your rental). PRIVACY: Being a photographer myself, I understand that importance of privacy during shoots. Given the nature of the building, there will always be an onsite manager in the space but out of the way in the main office. This is a concrete rule. We have MANY windows in the space, with multi layers of sheer curtains on them. From the inside you can see out, however from the outside you can not see in. We do still have blackout curtains we can put up if you wish.

Failure to follow this rule can result in you and your crew being requested to leave the space. - Failure to follow any rules can result in anything from you being asked to leave the space on the spot, to not being welcomed back. If you are asked to leave the space due to breaking rules, you are not entitled to any kind of refund. This studio functions off of basic mutual respect.
I'm so glad I found this place, I have a photography business & was in search of a spot to take a clients pictures, came across crosstown studio & I don't regret it. Alyson was a great host, will definitely have to be back!
First of all, you couldn't ask for a more accommodating and communicative host. Second, the space is a real gem. Not huge, it spacious enough. And the real advantage: there is nothing but awesome natural light in this space. Amazing. I've never worked in a studio that made such a difference toward making it easier for me to create beautiful pictures. So appreciative I had the opportunity to shoot here.
Alyson was very friendly and had everything ready for me. The space is wonderful and has great light. Having a secure location made me and my clients feel safe. All of my clients loved the set up also. The building itself is also beautiful and in a great location. Only downside (which I don't believe Alyson has control over) is it being a secure location and I rented on a weekend, the main door to the building is locked and requires a key card. I was not able to go out of the building at all because I wouldn't have been able to get back in. Thankfully I had someone who was able to bring me lunch :) Will just need to plan a little better for future. I am very much looking forward to using this studio again.
