This great and airy loft space is situated on the top floor of a beautiful renovated brick building in downtown Oakland. It’s purpose built for workshops and collaboration, with huge white boards, comfortable surroundings, presentation capabilities (a large screen TV and projector) and natural light flooding in from a wall of tall windows. Collaborate: Up to 35 people can comfortably work together, with plenty of power outlets and lightening speed Internet to make sure you stay connected. There are three tables that are easy to rearrange in any configuration, with comfy seating for all 35 of you, for the long haul. A lounge area with couches provides extra space for breakout sessions. Dial remote teams on the conference phone. Present: Built-in whiteboards cover one wall, with handy accent lighting above. Connect to the large screen TV for high image quality presentations (AppleTV and HDMI cable compatible), or go big with the projector - several large white walls allow you to choose the perfect angle. Creature Comforts: There’s an entry space for hanging jackets and bags, so everyone can move freely about the room. A small refreshment station and bottled water are provided. Open the windows to let the breeze in. The building is ADA compliant, meaning that everyone has equal access to your event. A hip coffee shop has excellent sandwiches and salads, just downstairs in the same building. Food delivery options abound, or take a break, and stroll a short distance to all the great food that downtown Oakland has to offer. The company in the space is a digital design and strategy agency, and we use this space to host our own workshops with clients. We’ve purpose-built this space to be flexible, comfortable, and efficient for collaborating. We’re happy to accommodate your team, and your next big idea!
Food is allowed in the space, but no kitchen access available. - No smoking - No pets - Trash should be placed in the bins and the host will take care of the rest. - Guests must provide additional insurance and valid permits for all vendors. - All rentals include set up and teardown time. We used the space for a workshop for our group of ~20 participants, guests and staff. + Our contact was super accommodating and communicative. He was responsive throughout the entire process and quickly helped solved a couple little hiccups that came up. + The tables were easy to move, we were able to use the space just as we imagined. + An idea: Our participants had to be buzzed in anytime they left the building. This wasn't a big deal, and the building contact was very helpful with this. But perhaps next time there could be a one-time code or something to help the logistics of that? + Overall, a great experience, we would happily use this space again!
