This space is absolutely beautiful and understated chic, perfect for a gathering or a meeting of any sort. The lighting highlights the simple yet elegant old brick and architecture. There is ample space for at least 75 to move around, mingle, eat. The coffee bar is a wonderful addition to whatever catering you may otherwise provide. Steve, the owner, is a gracious and attentive host, and he is assisted in his duties with great staffing, including Oliver, his friendly and talented cockapoo. I would definitely book again if I had another event to do in the near future.

The venue representative was very courteous and accomodating, however there were some major drops in communication: 1) This was a professional event with prospective clients. I find out afterwards that a dog was wandering around the entire time. This is something I would expect to be disclosed beforehand. At a professional event, this does affect our appearance as a company. What's more, it could have been an inconvenience to a guest with allergies who was too polite to speak up, putting them and us in a difficult position. I'm sure a dog isn't a problem in a low-key, social event (I myself love dogs), but at a professional networking event this should have been communicated. 2) We booked this event as advertised: a beautiful brick gallery space, only to arrive to find empty walls. This is a gallery. Letting people enjoy a drink and wander around looking at art was the entire appeal of this space. Instead, no art. The venue did not communicate with us that the gallery would be art-free that day. If they had, we would have changed the event date. When brought up afterwards as an issue, we would told we rented the space empty, not the gallery. 3) We booked a bartender, who cancelled 1 a.m. the day of. The event supervisor decided to take over as bartender without telling us. We learned this only upon arriving. Another lapse in communication. Would not have been a big deal, if only we'd been told. If we book a bartender, we should be notified if that person cancels.

My non-profit org recently had an event in this galley. Our guests raved about how beautiful this gallery is. Steve, our host, and his staff, were very helpful and made sure that our requests for furniture were provided during the event. The art works were amazing, and our pictures turned out very nice!We would book again!

Overall, the space is very beautiful and in a perfect area. However, there were some last minute problems - we were counting on using 3 cocktail tables that the gallery told us they had, however they removed them without telling us and we found out on the day of the event. Other than that, the staff was great, the place is amazing and I would definitely recommend it for small events.

This is a phenomenal space! Communication and payment was easy and smooth. We were able to come and view the space many times before paying and before our Studio54 office party. The host, Steven was above and beyond helpful during the event. He also has the nicest and cutest dog in NYC! The elevator operator was just as helpful as the host. Steven was also able to accommodate a huge storage space for big items so we could do next day pickup and even partook in clean-up! We love Steven and the space. Would certainly recommend.
