Ideal for private parties that want music & dancing, art exhibits, fundraisers, readings, pop up sales, promotions, music, openings, launches and special events. Music and noise isn't a problem as it's in Santa Monica's industrial area. The studio gallery can seat 100 people comfortably (folding chairs not including tables). Door & roll up with access to parking on the side is perfect for food truck catering & outdoor seating. Includes rooms for photo booth, or as lounge area. The industrial studio building has 5 skylights and 15' high ceilings. Walls are finished and painted, the floor is unpolished concrete. Daytime no lighting is needed because of the frosted skylights, 2 zones of white fluorescent lights at night. It's easy to create a soft light effect just using one row of lights which is not over the main gallery area. Up lights can create a party mood. Art work can be removed and replaced. (see images of photography auction, for additional fee) Separate adjacent 14’x16’ office outfitted with a long glass desk, side chairs and sliding door can be closed off or used for private lounge area, greenroom, dressing area, etc. Disco ball can be hung from the ceiling. Foyer area off Olympic entrance is ideal for bartender set up and supplies so it doesn't encroach upon the floor plan. Garment rack also available. Roll up door off parking lot for easy loading of equipment, props, merchandise, tables, food, or chairs (not included, to be arranged for by renter). Adjacent work area 14’ x 20’ convenient for bar set up, photo booth, ticketing or catering area at roll up door. Parking – 5 assigned spaces available at side entrance in addition to roll up door. After office hours and on weekends 20+ additional spaces are available in the same lot, as well as much unrestricted street parking in commercial area. Parking lot is an ideal spot for a food truck or set up tents and additional lounging area. We have photos of clients who did this, and vendors they recommend. Two unisex restrooms. Small kitchen. Folding chairs & add'l tables, tents, up lights, not provided or included in price of space. Client must organize rentals and pick up. Entrance via glass door on Olympic or side door off parking lot.
House rules are no smoking and no pets and adhere to parking instructions during daytime use. Any special requests will be considered ie change of wall color or installations on an individual basis.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

I loved this venue. It was the perfect spot to host my Roaring 20’s birthday party (65 people). The venue allowed us to have food set up in one room, the bar in one sectioned off area, a photo booth set up in the back and a dj with ample of room to dance, mingle and eat. Tom and Beatrice were the perfect host. They were so nice and helpful. They even helped us set up for the party. I would definitely recommend this venue for any event.

The host (Thomas and his lovely wife) made the process so seamless to work with them. Very helpful and gracious. Thomas's space is incredible - a beautiful multi-use gallery with high ceilings, kitchen, beautiful artwork, two bathrooms, garage door, etc. (I used it to host my 80-person wedding afterparty!) Located in an ideal part of Santa Monica with minimal crowds and ample parking. More impressive though is Thomas himself - he is a an absolute pleasure to work with, and you can tell he genuinely wants people to enjoy using his space. Can't recommend highly enough for events of almost any kind!

Thomas is an amazing host! He gave me advice and helped me set up my gallery. When we arrived to set up he was there to up hang everything, and give us tips on how we could make the show look better. He also had hanging supplies waiting for us. The gallery soace it self is amazing, super useful for many types of events. If I am to do a pop up gallery, or if someone is looking to do one I will always point then towards Thomas.

Thomas and Beatrice were the loveliest people! They had the space ready to go according to our layout needs, communicated with us regularly, made suggestions for equipment, showed us where to park, and made accommodations for one of our employees who is a new mom and needed to pump in a private space away from the main room. We held a 2 day anti-bias workshop for our employees and the facilitators we hired said that in their 20 years of running workshops, this one one of their favorite spaces because it was flexible, creative, had good light, fast wifi, comfortable chairs and was very clean and professional without being "corporate." I'd 100% choose to book here again.
