Hi there! This space was custom-designed from the ground up by local artisans and artists to be a high-end event space for the Bay Area. This brand new location has 1800's vintage vibes and all the wonderful modern amenities that you need to throw an amazing event. The space is 2,300 square feet in total, including an almost 200 square foot back patio. Convenience is queen here as we have ample private parking and street parking, outdoor space, ability to host food trucks and caterers, and an experienced support staff to help you pull off an event to remember. The space is entirely open floor plan and has gorgeous hardwood floors that have been refinished and the entire space has just recently undergone a remodeling (including by my own hands!). The Industrial Chic Event Venue supports local artists and features gorgeous handcrafted tables, and vintage decor that all created by local Bay Area residents. Included with the rental, at no additional charge, are five handcrafted maple tables, 60 chairs, 15 stools, a bar/serving area, industrial sink and drinking water fountain. You are also welcome to play your own background Spotify music via our concert-style speakers. We also have wireless LED customized lighting that can be adjusted to your favorite colors! On top of these awesome included amenities listed above, we also have additional amenities to make your event or meeting even more convenient and special. We offer an "A/V Package" that includes a high-resolution cinema projector, a drop down movie screen, wireless microphones, and a mixer, along with A/V technical support for just $200/day flat. We also built a custom photbooth that can be set up for your event for $200 flat for the event with unlimited photos. Most importantly, we have some of the best customer service and event support you will find in the Bay! The Industiral Chic Event Venue is located in the Jack London area of Oakland, right off of the freeway and only a 10 minute walk to West Oakland BART. There is ample parking for free on the public streets and in the parking lot. This space is 5 blocks from the famous Jack London Square and waterfront which features dozens of hotels, shopping, and fantastic restaurants. You are responsible for removing all items you bring into the space. You may leave trash and recycling for us to remove for a $35 fee. Basically, we operate a "leave no trace" policy. We will clean thoroughly before you rent so that is clean and tidy upon your arrival. We ask that you leave it as clean as it was when you arrived. We will take care of a deep cleaning after your event, however. You may bring in any food or drink that you like. No restrictions or extra charges. You may bring your own catering service as well. You will be responsible for any significant damage done to the facilities or products in the space. Normal wear and tear, however, is not a problem.
We Absolutely loved the venue. All my guest were asking for the information for future booking. The place was clean, really cute inside. Love the architecture. Will love to book again. The manager on site, Patrick was super helpful, professional, and really nice. We had a good time. Thx again.
This was the PERFECT venue for my wife’s 60th surprise party. The hosts were incredibly accommodating! The space is able to be arranged in whatever suits the needs of the event. The location is excellent for guests from whatever direction they are coming from to the Bay Area. Did I mention that the hosts were extremely accommodating? We were able to feed all 45 guests as a sit down with ease followed by dancing. Adults, young and not so old, couldn’t comment enough with positive reviews of the place we selected for the very special event. Very impressed with the industrial chic decor that creating the ambiance we were looking for. There is so much more that I could describe....but suffice to say...this event and location created a lifetime memory for our family. I can’t recommend this space enough. Thank you!
This was by far the BEST experience I've had with booking an event space. The entire process was smooth and effortless from the time I sent my first email inquiring about the space until the time we closed the doors after our event. I was able to meet each one of the staff members at different times throughout the process and they are ALL great! My guests keep asking me how I came across the venue. I loed how they gave me the freedom to decorate and transform the room to fit the vision of my event. Just the energy all around was great. I will definitely be booking again. The space was everything we needed. Plenty of room for a party of 50 people. Our vendors had no problem setting up food, photo booth, and dj equipment. Parking was easy and plentiful. It was clean, the decor/design was perfect, and Patrick was there to let me in and was a text away whenever I needed anything, unlike the person I initially booked with. My employees had a great time on the dance floor with the music bumping and trains flying by the open barn style door; a very memorable Christmas party. I used their space in Berkeley last year and I went with them again because of their great communication, professionalism, plethora of rental options and pleasant attitudes. I will be looking out for their next, newest venue space next year!
We could not be more thrilled with this venue for our work holiday party! Every step was straightforward and reassuring, from the initial email communication to the pre-event walk through to the on-site support day-of. They made sure we had everything we needed from room set-up to wifi access, and were consistently available to answer questions. The space itself was absolutely gorgeous, and was perfect for our formal event with dinner and dancing and a bar. Also, the photo booth and AV equipment were a huge hit! We are so grateful for the opportunity to have our event here and hope to book again in the future!
