About the Space
A dramatic spiral staircase and the 2-tone brick walls captivate you while heading up to the chapel. Inside you will find a high ceiling accentuated by dark wooden beams. The overhead ceiling fans help cool the venue during warm days, likewise the tall windows upfront and on one side. Windows open will give you a mix of two eras in 1 space (old & new). NOTE: The space has cooling and heating capabilities (i.e., air conditioning and heater). Spacious, yet favorable for smaller production or on-location photo shoots. A stage and pulpit are ready for any speaking engagement. An upright piano is readily available. In the evening, round crystal light fixtures showcase this venue, giving it an amazing ambiance. Virtual sharing is encouraged in the space, and social distancing is practiced. Langford Warren designed this Gothic English Sanctuary. The architect of the chapel was a Swedenborgian and Dean of Harvard's School of Architecture. The church was one of the first in the country to welcome marriages between couples from different ethnicities. It was in the 1970s that the church started accepting marriages between couples of different faiths. In the early 2000s, the church was one of the first to allow same-sex marriages before this was legalized by the Supreme Court.

- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.

The Sanctuary Chapel was a great place to have the Celebration of Life for Sandra Michael Epps. It had a peaceful ambiance and cosy enough to accommodate the 35 people who came. The host Jimmy C. was very hospitable and went out of his way to make sure we had everything that we needed and even double checked to see that we had all our bases covered. The reception area in the Library was lovely and spacious. Jimmy C. the host made sure that all the refreshments were put out in a neat and presentable way. Our thanks to the host Jimmy C for helping make this Celebration of Life send off a memorable one. .

What an incredibly beautiful space! The experience was nothing short of great. We used the church for a small video shoot and Jimmy was very accompanying, helpful, and even shared some of the interesting history about the church itself. Would definitely book again in the future.
