Ideal for photo shoots (designer, artist, journalist portraits), small video productions (interviews, yoga) and pre-production meetings (table reads), this lovely, sunny, open floor plan loft has 12 foot ceilings, cozy living area and space to stretch. Large main space with skylight and southern exposure windows allows lots of natural light in. Two-inch pipes are secured to the ceiling for mounting additional lighting and an extendable sturdy A-frame Werner ladder is available for use. Other amenities include a ceiling-mounted projector and pull-down screen, upright piano, large plants and small bar area. We have a spacious kitchen with tons of counter space for food prep and a large farm table that can seat 6 people. Additional antique chairs are scattered around the space as well. The bathroom has a full tub, excellent water pressure, heater fan and exhaust fan. An adjacent toiletries closet has plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, first aid, etc. The front door of the apartment exits out into a private courtyard with grass, grills, gazebo and tire swing. If you continue through the yard you can use the rear exit that leads to Fulton street with food markets, health food stores, retail and hardware stores. Exiting out of the front gate onto Atlantic Ave leads you to Crown Heights where you will find a ton of great new restaurants, 24-hour markets and coffee shops. Due to past issues, mid-level or large film/video shoot details will need to be discussed and agreed upon before booking and we will need to be around to monitor activities if approved. Please note: the second floor master bedroom and first floor office are NOT part of the rental.

Our video/photo shoot at Carmine's loft was awesome. He was responsive and very accommodating. The space was better than advertised!! Would definitely recommend this space to any production crew. Everything went seamlessly. Thanks again Carmine!

This is a beautiful space, and Carmine was very accommodating. He helped us with local food options and parking and logistics, as needed. There are two cats in the space that come and go freely and caused us no troubles. Carmine was kind enough to give the place an extra vacuum despite our early start time. Know that if you are recording sound (as we were), the place is not perfectly silent (it's not a studio, so of course it isn't). There is a nearby LIRR stop to consider, and the wooden floors and nature of the building meant that there are inevitable creaks and settling. The typical street noise bothered us only slightly, which in New York is a blessing (I can hear at least 3 construction sites out my window as I type this elsewhere). If you need a large space with texture and high ceilings and an accommodating host, we highly recommend.

The place was great (better than the photos actually) and Carmine a great host who made it all very easy for us. We had no problem whatsoever and had a really good shoot in this location.

Thank you. The space looked like it did in the photos. A little dusty in some places and some furniture looked a bit more worn out but other than that it was great. Lots of natural light and high ceilings. The host, Carmine, gave me great instructions for everything I might need access to. Communicate was seamless.
