All four floors are designed with premium amenities making the space feel like nothing else you have ever seen in the DC Metropolitan area. - A 2-hour minimum is required for all private events - Absolutely No Smoking in the building - Outside Food is allowed- ask about our preferred catering list - A COI must be presented for any external vendor. - If alcohol is onsite, a certified catering bartender is required. - If an event contains alcohol, no one under the legal drinking age is permitted to obtain alcohol. -Photo IDs of all attendees must be checked to confirm age prior to allowing them to consume alcohol. -No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Listing is for the 4th floor. One room overlooking meeting space and outdoor pavilion. Easy check-in process on the 2nd floor - and convenient access via elevator. Space was well-maintained and perfect for my shoot.
Loved love the penthouse. I hosted a small birthday gathering on a Saturday night. The space was both intimate and spacious! Emmanuel was professional and communicative despite my overabundance of questions and worries. I would def book again!

Leslie was great to work with! We booked this space specifically for the wooden deck area and the converging lines it creates visually. They did hand a co-working space logo on the back of the deck area, and when we asked Leslie if they could remove it, he was awesome and got it down for us within 20 minutes. They also have big bulb lights hung throughout the deck area, so just be aware of that if you're booking this space for the same reasons we did. It does change the visual a bit.
Alright, I booked the space to host photo session party. That's when you book clients and have them arrive at different time frames. I had a family of 6 an additional 6 people attendance (including myself) 12 people total. We came upon some issues. I did not foresee. See below. First let's go over the space: The images are misleading. I honestly thought there was an additional room or space with the balcony (I thought there were two rooms and a balcony from the images). I was under the impression there was a sitting area, an additional room then the balcany which I thought would be perfect a place for the clients to sit while I shoot images in the other room and on the balcony. NOPE not the case. Instead its one room L - shaped. The space starts from the evaluator (that one of the images) which I thought was another room. It's not! take about two feet and your in the main space. From the main space you can walk unto the balcony. Here are my issues: 12 people arrived (a few at a time) 1. There is only one bathroom so people had to take turns changing. Also people did not feel the bathroom was clean and complained. I was so busy I did not get chance to see t for my self but if you can 3 people complain then clearly it's not clean. 2. They do not allow you time to come in early. I asked if I can come a few minutes early and the response was basically. I needed to book my set you time. 3. The cleaning fee is $100.00 When I arrived at 10:00 AM the suite host was cleaning the tables and lighting candles and what not. The room was not warn (Mind you) if I am paying a 100 cleaning fee then the place should be clean before I arrive. Now when I get there. - That was a slight issue with me. However, since the host did help me bring some things up. I let it go. 4. Per the image I did not request additional seating due to the (couch and two chairs in the image) the couch was broken and faced backward on the balcony. 5. It was a cold morning windy. The heat lamp (the kind you see on the patios of restaurants was not working it looked as if it may have fell) This was an issue because we were not able to really use the patio space for longer than 10 mins. The heater would have allowed me to make best use of the space which was why I booked it in the first place. Also there were having lights most of which had fallen down. No one bothered to put the lights back up. It just gave this impression the space was a bit run down which is a shame because it looks very cute on the images and it could be a lovely space with a little bit of TLC. Overall, if you plan on having more than 15 people the space WILL NOT WORK. Yes there is a balcony and a tiny slight atruim when you get off the elevator, but attempting to squeeze more people than that into the space will cause issues. The main area can not be more than 5 or 6 feet at best and perhaps 4 feet wide. Visualize a pool 4 feet by 5 feet. I brought food there were no areas to wash a plate or gather water unless you went into the bathroom. Which was not an option. I space is tiny (my have been cute at one time) however, it's run down which explains the $75.00 fee. Pro - it served it's purpose. T The host of the space was kind and nice and helpful, as I stated before he helped bring up my equipment which I thought was classy/ I wanted to put up 3 back drops and ended up only being able to put up two do to space limitations. My guest understood I did not vent the location in person and booked online therefore I was not aware of how small it was and they were understanding because of that fact. I would not book this location again for a shoot party. The price is right, but the space is limited if there was more than one bathroom and an kitchenette area then it would be ideal. Still do not get me wrong again with updated furnishings, fix the balcony lighting and heater, you can use it for small functions.
