a) All New York City Fire and Building Department rules and regulations must be adhered to at all times. Space is subject to inspection by the FDNY.
b) Smoking is prohibited throughout the building - including hallways, stairwells and foyer.
c) Permanent fixtures (e.g. lights, etc.) are not to be moved without prior consent of staff.
d) The lobby is open to the public at all times during operating hours. No receptions, either before or after performances, may take place in the lobby.
2. SCENIC ELEMENTS
Design or construction which alters the house, stage, or doorways in any way must be approved by Operations Manager in advance.
We reserves the right to deny the use of any scenery that may be potentially damaging to the stage, performers or audience. (No MDF fiber board may be cut in any space.)
NO smoke, haze or particulate effects of any kind are allowed. (They set off smoke detectors, and the production may be assessed the cost of any charges incurred by the building.)
All soft scenery must be accompanied by a certificate of flame-proofing. Flame-proofing is the responsibility of the renter.
Load-In / -Out: Please be advised, only the rear elevator may be used for Load-In / -Out - Independent Service MUST be used. (DO NOT HOLD THE ELEVATOR DOORS OPEN BY HAND. IF A BUZZER SOUNDS, IMMEDIATELY RELEASE THE DOOR.)
Arrangements for storage of scenic elements and road cases must be made, in advance, with Operations Mgr. Our storage space is extremely limited. NO set pieces, props or costumes are to be left behind.
Disposal of set refuse (wood, etc.) is the responsibility of the Renter; wood and metal may not be left on the street with trash. If you need a reference for dumpster service, contact the Operations Mgr.
We are not responsible for providing tools to renters. You must bring your own equipment.
We provide a repertory lighting and sound package. For detailed information, please reach out.
No lights are to be hung within one radial foot of a sprinkler valve; nothing is to be hung or tied to sprinkler pipes.
Nothing may be hung over the audience area without a safety chain.
d) Speakers may not be moved.
4. PROPS AND COSTUMES
Arrangements for storage of large props must be made, in advance, with staff.
NO props or costumes are to be left behind.
Any and all props/costumes rented or borrowed from us must be returned to storage.
No glitter, chalk, rosin, popcorn or balloons shall be used in the space.
a) An electronic keyboard, music stands and video projector are available for additional rental, pending availability.
