OUR SPACE A bright, double height art studio with a clerestory running across the space. This 2,500 square foot Danish-Modern studio is located in the Mission District with 20-foot ceilings and a mezzanine that overlooks the main floor. There are exposed redwood rafters and wide plank, whitewashed hardwood floors throughout. The back wall has 40 feet on birch shelving that cab be used for display. Two areas have 8’ tables that comfortably seat 8 people. The restroom is newly renovated. There are large sinks on both levels. CONVENIENCE The studio is on the corner of 16th Street and Harrison on bus lines 22, 33, and 55 and walking distance from BART. It is one block from Gus’s market which is great for groceries and catering. The studio can be used for photography, castings, workshops, and events. There are no noise constraints. The space in not soundproof. Wifi and speakers are available. The entrance is on 16th street and there is typically ample parking.
Outside food and drinks are allowed. Noise and music are allowed. No smoking or pets. Roof access is never allowed. Use of pottery wheels and equipment is not allowed. 6 pottery wheels can be moved into storage by the owner if requested.
