About the Space
We use this space to teach bread classes, soap classes, fermenting and other cooking classes. We host parties and lectures and have used the space for filming. The total space is about 900 s.f. The main area can be configured as a classroom or tables removed for a party. There is a kitchen with a butcher block counter which is ideal to use for serving food or to teach classes. There is also a small back room that is in use but has room to securely store personal belongings or a small amount of equipment. What makes us unique is that we are the only home milling retail shop in the city of Los Angeles. We carry dozens of varieties of grains from all over the country as well as local farms. The space is only open for retail sales 8 hours per week, and is therefore usually available for events, parties, meetings etc during the week and we're closed evenings 7 days a week. The space has been successfully used for classes, lectures, catered parties, mixers, film shoots, Pop-Ups, Thankgiving dinners, how-to cooking videos, cast holding for productions and business meetings.

This space is perfect for a gathering. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space to move around and space to sit make it comfortable for several people. Having a parking lot is also a huge plus. Roe is an excellent host, very communicative and easy to work with. I will look at renting this space again.
