10 Hanover Square's Playroom is the perfect spot to host a small gathering for entertaining up to 10 children. We also have a bathroom located in the adjacent office. As health and cleanliness are more top-of-mind than ever, our efforts are focused on limiting the number of event rentals during a day to allow for thorough, professional cleaning and refreshing of the space. While all efforts to provide a sanitized area will be made, we cannot be held responsible for the health of those who use the space or potentially become ill thereafter. Please use all caution to protect oneself from unwanted illness and be mindful of social distancing while in the event spaces. Due to the ever-changing nature of COVID and the impact on our communities, amenities and availability are subject to change. We will provide as much notice as possible and work collaboratively to resolve the changes if applicable.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. I would not recommend this space. We booked the space in advance for over $400, under the impression that we would have our pick of rooms (confirmed via messages with the host). Once we got there, no one at the front desk knew of our reservation and repeatedly told us that it didn't exist and that they needed more paperwork -- more than the receipt provided to us on Peerspace and our credit card charges. There was no one there to greet us, and the room was completely filled with people. It seems that Katherine didn't confirm or communicate our booking with anyone on-site. Katherine also didn't answer any of all our calls when we got to the site, and we were at a loss of what to do with our interview guest arriving at any minute, even though we'd gotten to the site 45 minutes prior to the shoot. Once we finally got the issue resolved, they said we could have one of the tiny conference rooms, and we had booked the entire space with "our choice" of rooms. There were also no instructions or signs for where to go on the website, which required the team to look for where they needed to be for 15-20 minutes. Would not book again!
Katie and the team are a joy to work with. The space is perfect for our career fairs!
The Team at UDR was so very accommodating! They were responsive, and able to adjust to last minute needs. I would recommend this space to anyone looking to host a corporate meeting or event.
