Historic Dupont Library

The library is a serene space where you can hold events, lectures, meetings, book clubs and other celebrations. The interior has a modern vibe with its dark wood beams on the ceiling. Cozy yet functional with a wood-burning fireplace to keep you warm on those cold, winter days. It conveniently connects to the parlor next door for added space. Virtual sharing is encouraged in the space, and social distance is practiced. It will be great to host your group and see what you create! Langford Warren designed this Gothic English Sanctuary. The architect of the chapel was a Swedenborgian and Dean of Harvard's School of Architecture. The church was one of the first in the country to welcome marriages between couples from different ethnicities. It was in the 1970s that the church started accepting marriages between couples of different faiths. In the early 2000s, the church was one of the first to allow same-sex marriages before this was legalized by the Supreme Court.
