The sanctuary is a place where you can feel at peace and yet it is an awesome venue for media production. The jaw-dropping ambiance will surely make any occasion a memorable one. The building features a beautiful carved stone exterior on its world-class architecture while it also contains stained glass windows produced by top studios Lamb & Tiffany to illustrate Bible stories from Genesis all the way up until Revelation in their aesthetically pleasing Gothic style which adds beauty and richness into this space. The stained glass windows are the most notable feature of The Church of Holy City. It lets in plenty of natural light. Great care was given to ensure that each window reflected a theme related to its location inside or outside the church building. The pews and aisle make a grand entrance while it boasts high stone walls and embellished wood beams, creating an incredibly natural acoustic setting. Pendant lights hang overhead for nighttime events. Langford Warren and architect Paul J. Pelz supervising it's construction. The builder was Spier & Co., and Lane & Meinati oversaw stonework - ensuring that this monument would be preserved for generations to come. H. Langford Warren designed this Gothic English Sanctuary. The architect of the chapel was a Swedenborgian and Dean of Harvard's School of Architecture. The church was one of the first in the country to welcome marriages between couples from different ethnicities. It was in the 1970s that the church started accepting marriages between couples of different faiths. In the early 2000s, the church was one of the first to allow same-sex marriages before this was legalized by the Supreme Court.

We were very happy with having our wedding here! We did a more non traditional ceremony and Jimmy was open to that. We had a guitarist which sounded beautiful in the church. The sound traveled well as we spoke without microphones which was a plus! There are so many different photo opportunities inside and outside of the church that will definitely make our wedding photos turn out PHENOMENAL! We could have stayed there all day because there were so many spots with great lighting and backdrops!

I had the most beautiful wedding! The price was great and the host Jimmy couldn’t have been more accommodating. He and his crew who I didn’t see, made me flower arrangements for my bridesmaids, my bouquet, the alter and around the church. They even provided candles! Jimmy was such a big help and was very respectful and professional. He was great on communicating through out the weeks leading up to the big day and made sure it was exactly what i wanted. The only criticism i have is about the music that was provided. It was a stereo with a CD with wedding music. I felt that was not bad but it could have been louder while i walked down the isle. Other than that, this was a wedding of the century and all of my guests enjoyed the ambiance and the beautiful historic scenery of the church. As for parking, it was not a problem at all because all of my guests had parking right in front of the church along the red strip in the road. I had a lovely white winter wedding, it was so beautiful 🤩. I wouldn’t have had it any other way

WONDERFUL experience! We held our wedding rehearsal and ceremony at the Church of the Holy City, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. From our first communication, we felt welcome, and we received so many compliments about the STUNNING church. Bonus is that Jimmy is an absolute delight to work with! Highly recommend!
