Searching for a place where you can engage your audience with your social media posts and make them more likable? It is an awesome sanctuary at a Dupont church and a magnificent venue for any event. You will surely be blown away by the ambiance of this space suitable for any occasion. The Church of the Holy City has some really beautiful features, like a winding staircase and stained-glass windows. The initiative for these was taken by Boston Society of Arts & Crafts charter members-architects who collaborated with artisans to create gargoyles outside. The stained-glass windows let in plenty of natural light. Pendant lights hang overhead for nighttime events. The space illustrates Biblical stories from Creation to Revelation with well-crafted stained-glass windows by leading art glass studios, Lamb and Tiffany. Its pews and aisle make for a striking entrance, and its stone walls and adorned wood beams offer a wonderful acoustic setting. Peter L. booked a production for 6 people
We rented this beautiful historic space to use the piano and organ while staying in DC. Sholanda, the staff member who worked with us, was incredibly gracious and accommodating. She was very flexible with scheduling, and was able to share some of the building’s history, current use, and future with us. This place is a gem.
Sara F. booked a video interview for 9 people
Shalonda was extremely helpful and friendly. We booked the Church for some sit down interviews for a documentary. We would definitely book here again. We were filming on trash collection day so there was some noise from that pick up, but no more than you would get filming anywhere in a city that isn't a soundstage. On site parking was limited but we were able to pull in to unload and find spots in surrounding area for our small crew. Recommend!
