About the Space

"Serendipity Gardens" is the perfect venue for a wedding, wedding reception, or both. A variety of spaces are available to create the perfect event! Bring your ideas and imagination! You provide your own vendors (catering, music, decorations, DJ, etc). This rental is for the space only. Plenty of space for catering, tables, tent, decorations, dance floor, etc. Close to downtown San Jose with easy access to major freeways. Based on type of event this venue can accommodate up to 150 people. Will only host 1-2 events per month from March to October. Reserve your date today!! Not available for birthday parties. Here is what we have: - Easy access from all major freeways - Garden features include outdoor pergola, decks, marble fountain, grape vineyard, rose garden, outdoor chess board, bocce ball court, outdoor lighting - Free Street Parking - Onsite Bathroom - Host a variety of events with plenty of space for catering, tent, or dance floor - Not much needed for decorating but lots of possibilities - Vendor list available upon request Weddings/Receptions over 50 people must rent a minimum of one portable bathroom, in addition to the one bathroom that is provided on site.

Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Yes, I would book again.

I booked this venue for my sons 1st birthday in Oct 2020. We loved every little detail of the venue. The host was very nice & accommodating. We were also able to set up the night before which was a huge plus! I’ve recommended this venue to many family & friends already & will continue to do so.

Norwita's space is beautiful, truly a gem in San Jose. We were blown away by how quick Norwita was to reply to any questions/requests we had to plan our special day. The space appeared as advertised--actually, it is even more beautiful in person! We had our wedding at this space, and we're so happy we were able to find Norwita's space to be able to do this. Thank you Norwita and Preston for helping make our day so special! We cannot wait to work with you again in the future!

Yes, I would book again.

The venue was amazing and spacious for my wedding. My wedding was small and intimate, but the spaciousness made everything look beautiful. Everyone had a great time! We had space for dancing, taking pictures, food, and socializing. Norwita was extremely friendly. She is so easy to communicate with and very supportive. She made sure that we are comfortable and have what we needed for the venue. Norwita made sure that we have a perfect night. We sure did! Everything turned out so beautiful. She went through every detail to make sure that everything goes according to plan. I am so happy that I chose this venue. It was perfect and I highly recommend it.

This venue was awesome. Norwita and her family were extremely accommodating and helpful with coordinating with the vendors. The space is absolutely beautiful and there is plenty of space for a COVID friendly gathering. I would have no trouble recommending this venue to anybody and will keep it in mind for future events.

Norwita and her husband are ABSOLUTE blessings!! Covid ruined my big wedding plans. Because of Norwita I was able to keep my wedding date, keep my vendors and get married!!! I downsized the wedding to have a more intimate feeling and I do not regret it. Norwita would text me almost weekly with recommendations and asking if I needed anything. She was always available and the backyard was STUNNING. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future events. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart

Yes, I would book again.

If you are looking for a perfect outdoor location this place is it! Norwita works with whatever you need and will make sure your event turns out great! Tons of space and beautiful spots for photos. A gorgeous spot for any event! At her location I planned a very large baby shower for 130 family members. Parking is not an issue and finding it isn't either. Upon walking in she has gates and at the end of the drive way all you see is just this amazing open space. Norwita is great to work with. If you are hesitant about anything or concerned she listens and makes great suggestions. I am so grateful I booked with her!
