One of the most unique gathering spaces in the city, our barn-like lofty space with high ceilings, market-lights, and painted brick offers the perfect setting for receptions, showers, work off sites, team building, and commercial productions. A 3,500 sq ft venue on the ground floor of a 1911 Art Deco building, it also features exterior and interior murals by local artist Sabina Addis, shiplap wall paneling, barn doors, hanging chairs, as well as a projector and 110" retractable screen. There are several breakout areas, and in the back of the space, a kitchenette and two bathrooms. The lease can include tables and chairs for 50 and with decor for no additional charge, or be delivered as empty with shop items moved into storage. Centrally located in the Lower Polk neighborhood of San Francisco, it is just 8-to-9 blocks to many central locations, including Mid-Market, Union Square, City Hall, and the Civic Center. It is available from 8 am until 1 am daily. Twice baked croissants will be baked next door at our sister bakery commissary kitchen, while we offer a short tour of our croissant production and lamination. OVERTIME Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation, unless basement storage has been contracts prior to the event. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals and debris you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. The space may be delivered empty or with our shop tables and chairs if leased in advance. Chairs and tables for 30 available for additional $350 rental fee. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated. Caterers must communicate all needs and requirements with us one week prior to the event. Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. We had a wonderful time planning and hosting a 1st birthday party with 60 people for our twins here! The space is clean, bright, spacious and very well decorated with super cute french decor, perfect for our french patisserie theme. They have plenty of tables and chairs to use, sofas, super cute swinging chairs, and more that we used. Joanna and her team were so great to work with from the beginning - nice, kind, responsive, flexible, accommodating, honest, and had great execution on the day of. They also provided catering services for us and the food was beautifully presented and tasty! Our guests raved about the food and space. I had such an amazing experience here and would love to book this space again in the future (or have a re-do of the birthday! ;)). Thank you Joanna and Patrick for a fantastic experience and day!

Joanna was a great host! She spent time prior to the event helping us understand the layout and what was possible in terms of set-up. Her team was super helpful during the set-up, actual event, and breakdown. Not to mention, the space is gorgeous. I would highly recommend it.
This space was incredible! We hosted a 35 person, 3 day offsite. The front half of the space was perfect for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and snacks. The back half of the space was really well light, quiet, and had a projector. Here are a few things that made this space so special. 1. The space is completely private and the design felt warm and welcoming. 2. Patrick and Joanna own the French Cafe next door and were able to provide fresh breakfast, lunch, pastries, and afternoon cookies. Joanna listened to me and really helped bring my ideas to life. 3. We were able to open a tab next door so our team could order specialized drinks during breaks. 4. Everyone we worked with along the way from their team was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for our next event!
