PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION INCLUDING FAQ, OPERATING HOURS AND RULES. Thanks for checking us out! We have a big beautiful backyard that we are confident will be the perfect setting for any of your outdoor events including: birthday parties, baby showers, meet-ups, work gatherings, workout + yoga classes, dinner parties & more. Who wants to be stuck indoors!? This is a slice of paradise located in the heart of LA! Furnished with orange and lemon trees, an organic garden and a fire pit to mingle around. We can move the benches to make more space if need be. Enough casual seating (benches, chairs and cushions) for 18 guests. Two complimentary folding tables can be provided upon request at booking. The sizes are 6' x 2.5' and 4' x 2'. You MUST bring tablecloths to use tables. If you do not bring your own tablecloths you will be charged $10 / table if you still want to use them. Make sure you reserve these via the Add-On feature during the booking process. We also have one wooden table you can use that is permanently outside, but you must bring a table cloth for that as well. As an added convenience, we have a big barrel cooler you can use for beverages, and another small cooler, free of charge. If for a yoga class, you can fit 20 mats comfortably. Private entrance to the yard so it's seamless for your guests. Access to a half bathroom right inside the home. Catering Services available upon request by the delightful "LA Tabela". They can make any cuisine desired. http://www.latabela.com/ Our friendly gift: There is a beautiful lemon tree and we invite our guests to take some lemons home with them <3 - Please DO NOT use our firewood. If you use our firewood, you will be up-charged $20/bundle. IMPORTANT: If you will be using any electronics that draw a lot of power, ie. popcorn machines, electric grills etc, please let me know BEFORE. We need to route power accordingly. SUPER IMPORTANT: We are extremely punctual with our booking times. I Highly recommend that you book EXTRA time at the time of your booking to give you enough for setup / breakdown / clean-up. We are double booked a lot of days so we will need you out promptly at the time your booking ends. - FAQ - Q) Is there parking? Do we need a permit? A) Plenty of parking in neighborhood. No permit needed. We have had many parties with 100+ people and have never had any complaints. Q) Can I have a moon-bounce? A) Yes! As long as there is adult supervision. Q) Can I bring outside food and drink? A) Absolutely! We also have a catering service who can handle all your food and beverage requests if you desire. If bringing alcohol, we need to make sure everyone drinking is 21+. Any suspected under-age drinking will result in immediate cancellation with no refund. Q) Is there a bathroom? A) Yes there is a small toilet you have access to directly inside the home Q) Can we use your grill? A) No sorry. Q) Can we use your kitchen? A) No sorry. Q) Can we use your refrigerator? A) No sorry. Q) Can we use the fire pit? A) Absolutely - but you MUST bring your own firewood. Please do not use ours. Q) Is there water? A) We have a very small sink in the bathroom, and also a hose outside that you can use. Q) Is there power outside? A) Yes there is a power outlet near the ground by the black metal door (not entry door) on the porch. Q) Is there lighting? A) Yes there is plenty of lighting on the porch. If you want to rent ambient lighting for the yard itself, we have professional LED lights that can be made any color you want and look really amazing in the yard. Q) Where do we throw our trash? A) Please DO NOT throw trash in our city garbage cans. We have a small trash you can use throughout your event, but please bring trash-bags. After your event, throw your trash at the end of the alley way near Sierra Bonita in the big dumpster, next to the big red tent. Q) What is your policy if it rains the day of my booking? A) If it is raining DURING YOUR BOOKING HOURS, then we will allow you to reschedule for a future date free of charge. There will not be a refund, only an exchange of date.
- Please note: The time you book is the time you book! There is no coming early and staying late for setup and breakdown outside of the time you booked. We highly recommend you book at least an hour over your event time for setup and breakdown. For larger events, we suggest 2 hours. - Must clean up after your event or added cleaning fee of $30 / hour will be charged. Space must be put back to how you found it. - If you plan to use the fire-pit, you must bring your own firewood. Please do not use ours. - Re: Entrance - Please tell your guests beforehand to enter through the alley door with graffiti on it, just south of Melrose Ave, in between Curson Ave and Sierra Bonita Ave. - Absolutely NO loose confetti, sequin or tinsel. If this is found, you will be charged a $50 cleaning fee as this is a nightmare to clean up after. - If you have balloons you MUST deflate them or take them home at the end of the event. Please do not dispose of live balloons in dumpsters. Our last guest did this and they flew up and caused a power outage for 1,800 people in the neighborhood. - Ask for assistance if you will be moving benches around the fire-pit. - 21+ for events with alcohol.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

If you're consider it... rent it! What an absolutely beautiful, cozy, green outdoor space! We hosted a small backyard gathering/concert here and had such a great time. Our guests really enjoyed the yard, as did we. We got some large yard games going and sat on the grass and everything was very well maintained and clean. What a PERFECT way to ring in the end of summer! Side notes: The alley people have to enter through is covered in really amazing art which had the perfect "welcome" and offered neat opportunities for photos. The bathroom is just inside the house off the porch so it makes directing people there very easy, which was a big plus for us. Jonnie also had a few other signs up so guests knew where to go/not to go so it mitigated any confusion. Jonnie was always very helpful, nice and always quick with responding to my questions both before and during the event. Great host, great spot. I truly recommend it, especially for the price. I imagine we'll be back in the near future! THANK YOU! We loved every minute of it.
