Our lodge is a unique, custom designed and built log home retreat. Stunning architecture using whole log construction. Soaring open truss ceilings designed to showcase the incredible long range views and Scotts Flat Lake views. Grand open floor plan with rock wall fireplace, multiple gathering areas, loft, and 7 private sleeping areas. Peaceful setting on 10+ acres with access to Pioneer Trail for hiking, biking and horse riding, but close in to Nevada City/Grass Valley and all the action up at Tahoe. The amazing rustic log great room flows through to the kitchen and dining areas. 2 bedrooms are accessed behind the kitchen, and on the opposite side of the house, stairs lead down to a private den/sleeping area and a private bedroom. A full bath adjoins these rooms. Up the stairs from the main level you will find first the master bedroom, and then the loft. The master bedroom has outdoor access to the granny suite, which is two stories. Currently the bottom story is a bedroom with bathroom and the upper is a kitchenette. A fenced yard is a wonderful safe place for kids to play. The expansive decks look out over Scotts Flat Lake from the main level, and the lower level has its own private patio. Walking trails on the 10 acre property are gorgeous, and during the wet season there is a spring-fed swimming hole. The quaint, historic towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City are a quick 12 minute trip down smooth Highway 20, a beautiful drive on a State-designated Scenic Highway. Lake Access is 5 minutes away, and multiple areas for swimming are accessible on the Yuba and Bear Rivers. 9.5 mi to Nevada City center - Hot Tub, Pets Welcome, Air Conditioning 5 Bed plus loft, 4.5 Bath, Grand Log Home; Retreats, Reunions and Events Welcome Tahoe and all of the ski resorts are 30-45 minutes away.
