Spacious room that is great for parties, receptions, art shows, film screenings, small concerts, and events of all kinds. With gorgeous hardwood floors and plentiful natural light, it is perfectly suited for photo shoots and dancing. The space has 10 windows on three walls, and offers nice views from the second floor. It is one large room with a large hallway and balcony outside. Suitable for small groups and meetings (5-10) or large classes, events and meetings. Past events have hosted 40-60 people comfortably, and the space can potentially fit up to 100 people. Furniture is movable throughout the space, and unneeded items can be tucked behind a curtain/backstage area. Four rugs are available to use, and there are vases, decorative cloths and a range of lighting available to create just the right feel for your event. Great location in central San Rafael, close to the 101, easily accessible by bus, airporter, smart train, car or bike. Quick drive from East Bay, SF, and North Bay. Free parking in lot connected to building, with additional street parking nearby. Great eateries one block away, including Sol Food and Lotus (Indian food). Includes amenities: fast wifi, kitchenette with coffee and tea, filtered water, small refrigerator, hot plate, and plates, cups, cutlery, etc. There is a projection screen, two whiteboards with easel, printer, basic office supplies, 30 folding chairs and informal seating (two couches, a leather armchair, floor cushions and backjacks). Speakers can be connected to devices via cord or bluetooth. Projector can be provided upon request. There are several tables for your use, including folding desks/tray tables, two coffee tables, and a drop-leaf table that is 6 x 2 fully opened. The space has both heat and air conditioning, and a window and door that open to the outside for fresh air.
No smoking is allowed in the building. Outside food and drinks are allowed. Pets are allowed with prior notification.

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
