This space was carefully crafted, each step of the curation process was fueled by imagination and creativity. The space emulates a modern, terrarium-like oasis with all of the amenities to serve an array of events from team meetings, workshops, seminars, trainings, book signings, small off-site conferences, photo shoots/filmings, pop-up shops, and endless opportunities in between. The 2,000 sf space includes a live-edge conference table, small office desk, comfortable seating, access to outdoor seating, a kitchen, bathroom, shelving, AC/heating, and beautiful natural lighting. Located on the second floor of the Paseo Colorado shopping mall, foot traffic is light and the surrounding area is extremely safe. Easy access to a multitude of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, as well as hundreds of underground parking spots and street parking. Loading dock and freight elevator access are also available. To access the Marengo parking garage: Drive north on Arroyo Parkway, as if you are about to turn right on Colorado Blvd. Enter the garage instead, it is on the right-hand side. There is a Chase bank on the left-hand side. Park on any floor and take the elevator to the roof. Once on the roof cross the Pedestrian bridge, walk past the Equinox, My Gym, and the Management Office. The Solarium is located on the right across from the outdoor fountain and seating area next door to Posh Paris. We validate parking. For certain types and size of events, special event liability Insurance, and security deposit may be required. No Smoking and no animals. Food cannot be cooked on the premises, all food must be ready to serve. Gel fuel is okay, and any catering that remains on site will require their own Certificate of Liability insurance. Any live music must be coordinated prior to the event, musicians who remain on site will require their own Certificate of Liability insurance. No construction, damage of paint and walls allowed including nails or any process that involves drilling or hammering. Must be respectful of all neighbors (this area is partially residential). No parties outside, music and gathering are allowed inside the space, outdoor party component is possible with a proper permit. Furniture can be moved but must be returned to the original setting prior to the end of the booking. Permission required first. Trash must be placed in the dumpster at the end of the event.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. This venue was absolutely PERFECT. Today, my wife and I hosted a 45 guest baby shower and it went off without a hitch thanks to Macelle and this beautiful space. Almost every guest asked how we found such an amazing venue. From the start of our planning, contacting Macelle couldn't have been easier- she is super quick to respond. We also requested to see the venue before the date of our event and she was able to accommodate us. The space was exactly as advertised. Guests could either get comfortable on the sofas or chat away in all the nooks and crannies. We set up a photo booth on the greenery wall and it was a huge hit. The big table near the back was perfect for setting up a food station and there was enough room to arrange any kind of display you want. The back room also had a collection of miscellaneous event equipment that we ended up using. Super helpful! But where Macelle went above and beyond was when I couldn't find the microphone during our set up time. She personally came over with a new one in hand and helped us set it up just in time. Thanks again for everything Macelle! Would not hesitate to recommend this space!

We celebrated our kids birthday party here and i cant say enough good things about this place!! Its very modern, bright, chic and elegant with unique pieces of art in every corner of the room. This Space was AMAZING!!! First and foremost, I want to rave about the host Macelle! She was awesome, and extremely helpful! I felt like she really wanted my experience to be perfect! She had great response time with communication, which is huge because I was planning my sisters surprise party which can be stressful. She offered ideas on where to put decorations and food, she even offered me the option to use some of her dish ware for the event. I really just want to emphasize how great she was, because she made my experience one of a kind! Thank You Macelle! The Space: This place was perfect for my party! It's gorgeous! It fit 45 people very comfortably. Literally everyone there was asking me how I found such a stunning place to have the event at. It's affordable, they have many amenities, and free 90 min parking is available. Also, there's elevator access from the parking garage that makes transporting decorations, ice, etc. super convenient. It's also more than enough space for catered food and a drink bar. I'll be sending video to Macelle, and you can check out the layout of the event on IG @solarium, the place speaks for itself! All in all, I wish could rate Macelle and the space higher like a 10/5 but seeing as I can't, I just wanted to say Thank You again for such a memorable experience!!! and If I have another event like this, I know where to go! Where do I even start? The space, Macelle and working with her, the location - all amazing. My husband and I were looking for a space to welcome all of our family and friends to LA for our wedding weekend. Because we're based in Australia, we weren't able to see the space in person and the team offered to give us a live, digital tour. After that, we booked pretty immediately for our event which was 4 months out. A week before our wedding weekend, we went to the gallery to meet with Macelle to see the space and she gave us tips and ideas based on what we told her we wanted to accomplish. She was super friendly, very thorough, and gave us a rundown of not just the logistics, but also info on the art being showcased and other fun things we could potentially share with our guests. Cut to our event day: Macelle greeted us and the space was super clean and set up exactly as we had discussed. It was perfect for the modern, trendy cocktail party we were looking for with soft seating and plenty of space for 50 people. We didn't need to add any decorations except for some votive candles because the artwork, mood lighting, and plants that were there were more than enough. The event was a huge success and a perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend. Our friends and family loved it and a few of them are already interested in hosting their events there too. 100% recommend!
