Welcome to Ciel Creative Space, a premier photo studio. Standing as the largest 3 Wall Cyc in the Bay, this studio is perfect for photography and film. Amenities include: - Approx. 2500 sq ft or 48.5' wide x 52.5' deep - Lighting grid 16' high - 3-wall seamless white cyclorama - Cyclorama walls: 22.5' (left side), 48' (back side), & 33' (right side) - Usable cyclorama floor: 48' wide x 33' deep - Custom-built sound-dampening barn doors - Furnished mezzanine with bar-height tables & stools - Kitchenette with sink, fridge, cabinets & counter space - Client lounge area with leather couch & coffee table - Ground floor accessible with truck-height loading doors & optional cart/dolly/wheelchair ramp - Overtime and weekends are possible for an additional fee with advance notice. _________________________________________________________________ About Us We are a creative sanctuary. We provide studios, galleries and office suites for creators to make their best work. From the emerging visual artist to the director, we are here to support every stage of your process. Located in Southwest Berkeley, where creativity is embedded into the very fabric of the San Francisco Bay Area, we seek to support the arts through our communal partnerships. Located in Southwest Berkeley, our building features 45,000 square feet of operable space. Each of our studio spaces are fashioned with four directors’ chairs, folding tables/chairs, apple boxes, sandbags, and laundry hampers. We have limited parking onsite which is subject to availability. On the second floor, our building features an open floor plan format with several conference rooms, office suites and additional co-working space. Also located in house are our production partners, Ranahan Production Services and Little Giant Lighting & Grip Co. We are happy to act as your liaison to procure their services during your time with us. Additional amenities include our first floor common area which features our stocked kitchenette for your use, restrooms and beautiful art, plants, and furniture. We ask our guests to be mindful of the cyclorama curved corners and edges which are very fragile and walk only on the flat floor. Damage to the cyclorama or other rental areas will incur an additional fee. No smoking whatsoever is allowed in the building or within 20 feet of any entrance. Food and drink must stay in the designated areas. No non-prescription or illegal drugs. If alcoholic beverages will be consumed on premises, an appropriate liquor license must be provided. Music/voices are to be kept at reasonable levels. Speakers must be pointed away from the windows to keep noise levels low. No one will be admitted to the Premises who appears drunk or under the influence of illegal substances. No animals or pets allowed without prior consent of an authorized company representative. Trash should be placed in the bins and the host will take care of the rest. Guests must provide additional insurance and valid permits for all vendors. Maximum headcount of ten (10) people per 1000 sq ft in your rental party. Ask ahead if you have a larger group, which may incur an additional fee. Rental rates cover an 10 hr day. All rentals include setup and teardown time. Overtime and weekends are possible for an additional fee with advance notice.
