Our space is an ideal venue for stylish gatherings. Located in a historic warehouse in DC’s Eckington neighborhood, the space includes about 2,500 square feet of rental space, complete with a modern kitchen and conference room. AMENITIES: Your rental includes the use of the entire event space including the gathering space, kitchen, conference room and two restrooms inside, as well as three parking spaces and the driveway outside. We also provide the following with every rental: • Venue Manager • White curtain pipe + drape • Pre-hung dimmable cafe lights CAPACITY: • up to 150-person reception FEATURES: • natural light + adjustable ambient lighting • 20-foot high ceilings • exposed white brick • two restrooms • two private entrances • historic architectural features • oversized skylight • handicap accessible lift VENUE MANAGER: We provide a Venue Manager to oversee your event from the initial planning through day-of oversight. The Venue Manager will serve as the point of contact for all matters related to space function and will be available for any questions you or your event planner may have. The Venue Manager will be at the space on the day of your event from the start of load-in until the space is cleared to be sure all vendors have full access to the space as needed. The Venue Manager will also monitor restrooms, entrances and xits, and any other issues directly related to the venue. FOOD + BEVERAGE: • No cooking or open flame is permitted inside the space • Insurance, provided by the caterer, will be required with our space added as additionally insured. • We require a $500,000 general liability policy with workers’ compensation provided as determined by DC law. • Moderate use of our kitchen and prep tables are permitted, butheavy preparation and cleaning must happen on-site. • The caterer will be responsible for all trash removal. There are dumpsters on-site. • The caterer must provide the liquor license and bartender to serve alcohol on-site. • All food and beverage must be removed from the site at the end of your event. FURNITURE + DECOR: If you would like to rent plants or décor for your event, please let us know! Rentals are available at a daily rate, and styling services are available upon request for an additional fee. We also have an assortment of exclusive furniture available to rent. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring in furniture, tabletop + decor rentals from the company of your choice. RENTAL RATES + TIMING: During the week the space serves as our headquarters. It is available for rent on weekday evenings beginning at 4pm, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Rental inquiries outside of these times will be considered by request. The details of your event timeline, including the time during which you can access the space for set-up and breakdown will be outlined in your booking. Your event must end with enough time to complete breakdown, clean up and load out of all equipment, rentals and decorations prior to your contracted end time. You can decorate the space however you like, with the understanding that all decorations are to be removed without damaging the venue. Candles contained in holders are a-okay, but smoke machines, glitter, confetti, etc. are not allowed. Q. What is parking like? A. Up to three parking spaces are available upon request for use during your event. Street parking can be found in the surrounding neighborhood and is subject to normal District parking laws. Q. What Is The closest metro stop? A. The closest metro stops areRhode Island Ave + NOMA Gallaudet. Q. Are there any required vendors? A. We have a list of our preferred vendors, but we do not have required vendors + are happy to work with any vendor you love to make your event special. Q. Is the space handicap accessible? A. Yes, there is a handicap lift available to help guests enter the space from the upper entrance by the parking lot. Q. How can my vendors load into the space? A. Caterers and rental companies may load in through the glass garage doors at the front of the space during contracted rental hours
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. The space was great. Very transformative. The staff are very accommodating and flexible to changes that may need to be made last minute. This shoot was in the middle of July so the AC works pretty well. I would definitely recommend this space for events or shoots!
