With a full-size bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, state-of-the-art furniture, collaborative coworking and office space and a total of four 50-inch flat screen televisions, Ohio River South serves as the perfect venue for a multitude of events and occasions, whether professional or social. Our office is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, just a few steps from the Georgia State Capitol, Coverdale Legislative Office Building, “Sloppy Floyd” Administration Building, Atlanta City Hall, Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County Government Center, Richard B. Russell Federal Building, Superior Court of Fulton County, and much more. As hosts in the proud tradition of southern hospitality, we know that nothing compliments a great event like a cold, refreshing drink. Our office houses a custom bar stocked with premier spirits, mixers, beer, wine, and more. The bar boasts a variety of spirits and non-alcoholic beverages, including vodka, gin, scotch, rum, bourbon, tequila, red and white wines, champagne, domestic and imported beers, soft drinks, and chasers. We’re happy to tailor either bar package to accommodate parties of all sizes. Bar packages and professional bartending services must be requested in writing at the time of booking. Custom proposals that reflect the size of your group or length of event must be submitted in writing no later than 14 days prior to the event date. Additional fees may be applied to bar packages that are requested less than 14 days prior to the event date. Pricing for use of the bar is as follows: BEER & WINE $249.00 Flat Fee: A combination of red and white wines paired with domestic, imported and locally brewed beer with cups and ice FULL-SERVICE BAR $599.00 Flat Fee: Full bar including liquors and chasers, beer and wine, cups and ice PROFESSIONAL BARTENDER $250.00 Flat Fee: An additional fee that is used to compensate a professional bartender for a total of 6 hours or less. For liability purposes, professional bartending service is required with the purchase of any ORS bar package. B.Y.O.B. PACKAGE No Additional Charge: Outside beverages and spirits are allowed. Guests who opt to supply their own drinks may hire a certified bartender or mixologist of their choice. A photocopy of the bartender's ID and a copy of their professional bartending license and/or certification must be submitted within seven days of the event. Bar amenities including use of the refrigerator, ice buckets, sink, etc. are not included.
The Ohio River South venue space can accommodate approximately 60-80 guests if seating is required, and 115-135 guests with standing room. Smoking is prohibited inside of the building. Tables and additional chairs can be provided for an additional cost. Reservations for events, off-site meetings, and productions must be sent no later than one week prior to the date reserved. Reservation times must include pre-event set up and post-event breakdown. Outside catering and DJ services are permitted. Due to storage and space restrictions, limitations are placed on the amount and types of furniture rentals that are permitted. All rentals must be submitted to ORS for review and approval at least 14 days prior to the event date. All contracted vendors must submit an electronic copy of their certificate of insurance at least 7 days prior to the event date. Site visits can be arranged Monday-Friday by appointment only. As a professional courtesy we ask that you schedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance and call or email to confirm your appointment at least one hour prior to your arrival to ensure that a team member is available.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
