PLEASE REVIEW THE NEW HOURLY RATE SCHEDULE, REQUIREMENTS, RULES, ETC. BELOW BEFORE CONTACTING US... The outdoor pool and patio areas are ideal for all photo shoots, film/ video shoots, and more. This unique space consists of a three tiered terraced backyard of a private home in a residential area of Silver Lake. The terraces include a newly built heated pool/ hot tub surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, white walls, off-white treated floors, and complete with lounging/ dining areas. Clients will have access to the exterior patios, a designated room for hair/make up/styling with wardrobe rack, bathrobes, and towels, and restroom. Photographs will be sent prior to your booking confirmation for your review. Located in the heart of Silver Lake, the location is easily accessible from the 5, the 101, and the 2 freeways and offers ample street parking. Conveniently located close to other potential shooting venues such as Griffith Park, local trendy bars, and restaurants, etc. makes Poolside In Silver Lake an ideal shooting location. HOURLY RATE: Hourly rate is based on a total number of people. CALCULATE YOUR HOURLY RATE: The hourly rate is $175/ hour for the first 8 people, with a minimum of 3 hours. Each additional person is to be charged at an additional $25/ hour (not including catering or craft service delivery and pick ups). For example: Hourly Rate is $175/ hour for 8 total people Hourly Rate is $200/ hour for 9 total people Hourly Rate is $225/ hour for 10 total people ... etc. etc. Any additional hour within 10 hours from the bookings start time will be charged at your hourly rate. Overtime will be charged after 10 hours of the bookings start time. OVERTIME: Overtime is charged at 1.5 x your hourly rate past 10 hours in increments of 30 minutes. CANCELLATION POLICY: Please review ours/Peerspace's cancellation policy below before booking. REQUIRED SITE REP FEE: For smaller shoots, and/or if available, the Owner will act as the Site Rep. A Site Rep fee will be charged for all shoot at a rate of; $160 for any shoot under 6 hours, and $260 for shoots 6 hours and up (not to exceed 10 hours). Please note that Peerspace requires hosts to pay a 18% commission on all ancillary fees. We do not profit from any ancillary fees, including Site Rep fees, cleaning fees, etc. We simply charge the day rate/ hourly rate (or expense), factor in payroll taxes, and Peerspace's commission of 18% on top of said rate/ expense. REQUIRED INSURANCE: The Guest/ Client will need to submit a General Liability Insurance Certificate showing owners name and the property address as additionally insured/ certificate holders. Also, please be sure to include proof of Workers Comp. insurance if applicable. If you don't have insurance please let us know, and we'll work on securing one for you at a very reasonable rate in all but 5 minutes. OPTIONAL POOL HEATING FEE: A pool heating fee of $80-$100 is optional. AREAS OF USE: You will be able to shoot anywhere on the outdoor patio areas of the property, excluding the front of the house. Hair/ Make Up and Styling can be done inside your designated room. SITE VISITS/ RECENT PICTURES: As we are constantly looking to improve the location, pictures shown may not reflect the most up to date improvements and changes. Site visits (virtual or in person) are strongly encouraged and/ or more recent pictures can be sent to you upon request. STYLIST/ SET DESIGNERS: For added convenience, if possible, and/ or if the space is not booked, Stylists/ Set Designers may drop off items the day prior to the scheduled shoot day. However, please note that we are not to be held liable/responsible for any damages/ theft/ other of any items left overnight. Inquire with owner/ Site Rep. ahead of time as to possibility and appropriate delivery window. PREP DAYS: Prep days may be charged at half your shoots day rate, and is dependent on availability, scope of work, time needed, owner/site rep. availability, and determined on a case by case basis. We work on a per project/per budget basis and welcome any and all inquiries. Our goal is to make sure that we can accommodate all of your needs in the utmost professional manner. NEIGHBORHOOD: Poolside in Silver Lake is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. When outside and in the street, we ask that guests please be sensitive to, and respect the neighbors by not shouting, playing loud music, or loitering. PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: We ask for a single point of contact for the production on the shoot day. Please inform us who will serve as the Production Coordinator and provide us with her/ his contact information. The Production Coordinator should be the first person to arrive at the property and the last one to leave. Her/ his primary job is to make certain that everyone from the production is aware, understands, and follows all of our requirements/ rules. PATIOS: When moving any and all furniture, equipment, props, or other, said items must be lifted NOT DRAGGED by two (2) persons. Any damages to our patio floors will be billed directly to the Client. It can get very expensive, so please make sure the entire production team is aware. Placing mats or securing with tennis balls under all equipment, heavy props, etc. is required. If available, tennis balls and mats will be provided to you. OUTDOOR SHOWER: No shampoos, soaps, make up, or sun tan lotions harmful to plants may be used int he shower. POOL/ HOT TUB: If utilizing the pool, please let us know in 24 hours in advance, so we may heat it accordingly. A charge of $80 will be required for each day of heating. There is absolutely no running, diving, jumping into and around the pool area. Our patios are an off white with pink tones, so to keep the patios clean, make sure your talent dries off completely prior to walking around patios. If available, several towels, bath robes, and bath mats will be provided along with a spin mop and bucket. HAIR/ MAKE UP/ STYLING ROOM: A 12 x10 foot room will be your designated space. INSURANCE REQUIRED: The Guest/ Client will need to submit a General Liability Insurance Certificate showing owners name and the property address as additionally insured/ certificate holders. Also, please be sure to include proof of Workers Comp. insurance if applicable. Many times it is a separate policy. If you don't have Workers Comp. insurance you will need to sign a waiver upon arrival. If you don't have insurance please let us know, and we'll work on securing one for you at a very reasonable rate. FILM/ PHOTO PERMITS: It is the sole responsibility of the Guest/ Client to determine if they require a filming/photography permit from Film L.A. Poolside in Silver Lake shall in no way be liable for any fines that the Guest/ Client may incur due to the failure of securing a permit. NOISE: When outside, please be sensitive to and respect our neighbors and refrain from playing loud music or shouting. For music videos we require lip sync to playback from a cell phone. ALCOHOL/ ILLICIT DRUGS: Alcohol and illicit drug use is strictly prohibited. SMOKING/ VAPING: Smoking/ vaping nicotine products is allowed on our top tier patio only. PARKING: Ample street parking should be available on both Waverly Drive and Farwell Avenue. Any additional vehicles may be parked off site. If possible, we will attempt to reserve spaces directly behind the house on Waverly Drive for easy loading and unloading. WHERE TO PARK: Vehicles may park on the South side of Waverly Drive directly in back of our property and on the East side of Farwell Avenue between Waverly and Locksley Place. No one should park on Locksley Place. No loitering in the street please. LOADING IN/ OUT: Please reserve Waverly Parking for vehicles that need to load/unload. There are 5 steps down to our top patio area, and an additional 16 steps to the second patio area (pool) and first patio area. Please be extremely careful going up and down the stairs, as they are irregular in size. ABSOLUTELY NO RUNNING! IT'S A WRAP: Please give yourselves enough time to load out. Please do not load everything into the street to beat the clock only to continue loading your parked vehicles in the street. This is a quiet residential neighborhood. SHUTTLES/ UBER/ TAXIS: If you are departing by shuttle, ride sharing service, or taxi, please wait inside the proper on the top patio, and not in the street for your ride to arrive. OVERTIME: Overtime rate is 1.5 x your hourly rate therefore please try to be accurate in your initial booking request. Overtime is calculated in minimum 1/2 hour increments. EXTRA CAST/ CREW/ OTHER ADDITIONAL CHARGES: For every additional person on location on the shoot day beyond the contracted total, there will be a charge of $25.00/ hour per person. REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Depending on the size of the shoot there Guests/ Clients may be required to provide Owners with a refundable security deposit. The amount of the deposit is proportional to the size of the shoot and will be determined on a case by case basis. SITE REP: For smaller shoots, and/ or if available, the Owner will act as the Site Rep. A Site Rep fee will be charged for all shoot at a rate of; $160 for any shoot up to 6 hours, and $260 for shoots over 6 hours (not to exceed 10 hours) . DRONES: Drone usage is not allowed. CHILDREN: Property must be alerted to any children. Children must either have a babysitter or be supervised by their legal guardian and be responsible for the child safety. CATERING/ CRAFT SERVICES: All deliveries must be delivered at the back entrance. Until Covid-19 restrictions are lifted you will not have access to our kitchen, refrigerator, etc. Please make sure to bring coolers, etc. SHOOT DATES: 7 days a week. ADDITIONAL RULES AND DAY-OF PROCEDURES: GENERATOR: If necessary to bring a generator, it must be cleared with the property Owner. BATHROOM: The designated bathroom (with shower) is located on the ground floor of the main house in the Hair/ Make Up/ Styling room. CLEANING FEE: Guests must be respectful of the property and leave the premises clean. We need our patios to be power washed and moped after each shoot, and a fee of $160 will be charged. WALK THROUGH: A walk through will take place before and after each shoot is completed with the designated Production Coordinator and On-Site Rep/ Owner to determine if any loss or damage has occurred as a result of the production. The Production Coordinator will be permitted to photograph and/or film the premises during the walk through. MISCELLANEOUS: Production Coordinator/ Guest/ Client shall require that all crew/ cast/ subcontractors obey the reasonable directions of the location site representative/ Owner as it relates to the protection of the property and failure to do so shall be a breach of this agreement. RIGHT OF REFUSAL/ WILL NOT WORK WITH: Poolside In Silver Lake strive for and maintain perfection by behaving professionally and respecting its clientele. In turn we expect the same level of professionalism and respect from our Guests/ Clients. To this date, we have had only one encounter with a very unprofessional/disrespectful Guest and have decided (with much deliberation) to restrict him from utilizing our space. The Guests name will only be divulged to you before you confirm the booking, in the very unlikely chance he is part of your crew. Owners reserve the right to refuse any booking. LOCATION PROMOTION: Owner reserves the right to publish any photos or video (including behind the scenes footage) from the shoot for the sole purpose of promoting the location.
