The 1,800 sq. foot main floor of this 1900 Victorian locating in the heart of the Buckman neighborhood has been carefully curated to host community gatherings, team off-sites, creative workshops, day-long retreats, meetings, pop-up events, chef dinners, intimate music performances and the like. Features: - Pocket doors allow for open floor plan/integrated uses or individual/compartmentalized space use (4 distinct rooms) - Full Chef’s Kitchen - The dining table is expandable to accommodate 6 – 12 people comfortably for dinners or conference style work - Full bathroom with full length mirror - Dimmable lighting - Large Windows offering plenty of natural light We offer two distinct floor plans to choose from prior to arrival based on the type of event being created. Additional floor plan arrangements can be accommodated with a pre-event planning consultation. There is one restroom located in the back corner of the floorplan removed from the main centers of activity. Our on-site host can be made available to assist during your event upon request. The space is the entire main floor of a corner lot historic Victorian preserving the craftsmanship details of the era (wood work, windows, stained glass, flooring inlays, etc.) and renovated with modern updates (chef’s kitchen, modern fixtures/lighting, etc.). The interior design has been carefully curated to bring a sense of creativity, energy and refinement, while also staying minimalist and functionally flexible. Chef’s dinners and intimate acoustic performances will feel right at home, just as corporate off-sites will feel a sense of creative inspiration and life. The space is just a short distance from downtown, adjacent to Revolution Hall (one of Portland’s premier music venues), and steps away from a host of popular shops, restaurants, coffee joints, etc. The Oregon Convention Center is a 10 minute walk.

The Butterfly house was an absolutely beautiful and the perfect space for our small wedding. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated and the backyard worked out great for our ceremony. This space is FANTASTIC. The home is warm and well decorated, with just the right amount of seating and entertainment space options. The kitchen is fully equipped and bright. Gabriel was a fantastic host and provided clear instructions -- both verbally and written. The home was in tremendous condition and everyone commented on how tasteful and beautiful the decor was. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to host a party or event for a mid size group of guests. I rented the space for my friend's bridal shower where we had about 25 guests and it was perfect. I the house is very clean and stylish, and had everything we needed. Chip (the owner) and Gabriel (tenant upstairs) were both super friendly and accommodating and made me feel like I had everything I needed to host the perfect party. Again, would highly recommend this space for a similar type of event.

This space is so incredibly beautiful, even better than the pictures. Each room is gorgeous in its own way. And the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, including a great coffee maker (very important for me) and a ton of serving platters and bowls. Having multiple rooms was perfect for my event as I had break-out groups. There were plenty of extra chairs and floor pillows. And the communication with the host was timely and clear and really helpful. I can't recommend this space enough, everything was topnotch.
