Our 14x12-square-foot open-air photo studio is ideal for headshot sessions, creative portraits and product photography. The space is painted bright white and features dreamy natural light from the adjacent north-facing windows. Use of seamless paper backdrop rolls is included in the photo-studio rental. Also included: our seamless product-photo station & LED lighting kit, perfect for photographing small items on a white background for your Shopify, Etsy and Amazon listings. *Other lighting and equipment rentals are available for an additional fee.* Studio rentals include access to the majority of our 1,200-square-foot space (so, everything except for the meeting room and podcast room). You’ll also have access to the kitchen, a loading area, plus the following: Furniture: • Two sofas • Built-in leather bench • Two leather chairs • Four black Eames-inspired chairs • Two white Eames-inspired chairs • Two white wire-framed chairs • Two 4’x7’ wooden dinner tables with built-in electrical + USB outlets • One coffee table • Five small side tables These furniture options are included in any studio rental. Please let us know ahead of time if you'd like any of these items removed or put away. Studio rentals are available most weeknights (5pm to 12am) and all day on weekends (7am to 12am). We require a 3-hour minimum for any studio rental and recommend booking at least TWO WEEKS in advance. Please be advised that we are located on El Cajon Boulevard next door to Soda Bar, a live music venue with shows every night of the week. Sound-checks begin around 5 or 6pm and bands usually start playing around 9:30pm. The sound can be heard in our space, but isn't too distracting if music is also being played on YBH speakers. Heads up! We're proud to support local artists and we regularly feature rotating exhibitions in the space. There's a good chance that we'll have artwork on the walls during your rental. Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. I rented the space for a bridal shower and it was perfect. The space is quite flexible, comfortably sat our group of 30, and looks even better in person. The space is already so well designed and decorated that adding your own decor isn't needed - even the bathroom is beautiful! Stacy and Nic were wonderful to work with. So accommodating and quick to respond.

This "Inspiring Creative Event Space" could not have been more PERFECT for our baby shower. Stacy was very responsive prior to our event date. Day of we had a catering nightmare and ended up checking in 30 minutes late but Nic was very patient with us and showed me how to use the WiFi, music, AC, etc. There were clear instructions on how we could use the space. The venue was already decorated BEAUTIFULLY with the gorgeous couches and seating alternatives. Plenty of plants/greenery. The space may look small but it can comfortably host around 40 people for an intimate experience. The baby shower turned out gorgeous and we were very thankful for this venue! Thank you!
