Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

Our event space is set up in a way that we can physically distance your guests comfortably and most importantly, safely (with the ability to open windows to promote proper ventilation). Formal sanitization procedures are in place throughout our entire space and follow all the federal, state, and city guidelines. All conference rooms and surfaces within are disinfected before and after each use. Prior to your reservation, I personally connect with the event organizer to talk through your needs and concerns. Virtual tours via Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet are always available if you would like to preview our event space. Our staff is will be on-site for the duration of your event and will continue proper sanitizing and cleaning while you're in our space, more on our re-entry procedures here:www.chicago.technexus.com/reentry We are always here if you have questions or concerns!

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable gloves
Disposable masks
Hand Sanitizer

Parking description

We recommend using Spothero or other spot apps, there is no parking at the Civic Opera House. The CME group building is across from us on Madison and has a lot as well as a good handful of lots close in the area since we are across the river from Union and Ogilvie Station.

Equipment loading description

Through the front street entrance to use freight elevators. Carts available as well. Loading dock access via Lower Wacker as well but need to complete a COI and discuss with us prior as well!

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

Many outlets are available and we have tons of extension cords and surge protectors if needed. Any serious electrical concerns, reach out to us and we can connect.

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

- Masks are required in the space at all times. We can provide you one if needed. - Adhering to our Covid-19 Guidelines posted around the space. - No pets, exceptions for guide dogs, and registered service animals. - No smoking - No food or drink inside the recording space - Please return equipment settings to default after use We strive for inclusion and collaboration our space, so respect of the shared areas and offices is crucial. If you are unsure about the rules, please message us via Peerspace and we'll get back to you!

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

We allow movement of objects when discussed prior to use of the space. Everything must be placed back where it belongs when completed.

No smoke machines allowed

Check with your host if there are any surveillance cameras or recording devices in the space.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
