All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
The Urban Jungle brings you to our fully decorated urban jungle loft. We are located in the heart of Downtown LA, same building as The Last Bookstore. This loft features a 650 sq ft single-story floor plan, with one full side of windows. The loft also features a functional tuned piano ,unique furniture and different one-of-a-kind decors. There are WiFi, A/C inside the loft, as well as paid parking lots next to the building. No shoes are allowed on the rugs as they couldn't be cleaned if they get dirty. The starting time you've booked here might be landing exactly right after the other group's booking period as there is no a way to put buffer in between booking here. We would highly recommend bringing in great audio recording equipment and sound proofing tools as we could not control the sound from our surrounding area.

Our windows will have direct sunlight coming in during the morning (starting from around 9am to 2pm). After that we would get indirect sunlight.
We have diffusers built in for all the windows, as well as thick curtains. Light could be blocked out if needed.

We are located on the 9th floor facing Spring Street.

General Rules
Please be up front with what you're looking to do, and we'll be happy to work with you to make your project a success. Please include the following:
* Total number of cast & crew
* Desired date(s)
* Exact hours you will need (ie. 7am-7pm) including load-in/load-out, setup and tear-down
* Equipment & lighting specs
* Pets (Please consult with us beforehand)
* No shoes are allowed on the rugs as they couldn't be cleaned if they get dirty.
* No Smoking/Vaping
* Fog/Haze machines are not allowed
* No alcohol
* No drugs or illegal activities
* Coasters are required on wood surfaces
* Keep the hallway clear, everything has to be inside the studio space
* No filming in the hallway
* Do not sit on the windowsill as you might fall out of the window
* Leave space as you found it.
NOISE -- We have a zero-tolerance policy with noise complaints. We ask that you please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.
SECURITY CAMERAS - We have security cameras inside the space, please use restroom on the same floor for changing.
DAMAGES - You will be accounted for any damages to the space / items
INJURIES - We are not liable for injuries

Yes, I would book again.
Entry was simple. The concierge provided clear instructions to the room. The host answered promptly and gave us the code to the lockbox. The space was beautiful as expected. We had a wonderful shoot. The natural sound wasn’t too bad for filming. We just had to wait for pockets of silence between buses and street noise. Thank you for allowing us to use your space Debbie!

This is our 4th time shooting in one of Debbie's studios. This is the 3rd different studio. Debbie and her team are amazing. Great communication, helpful team, easy to facilitate; check in; etc. Everything studio space is exactly as show in the images. Ample natural light; clean; and professional! The buildings have EASY paid parking lots right next to the building and/or there is easy street meter parking. A few short years ago studios like this would have been impossible. Thanks to peerspace and hosts like Debbie, it makes the most difficult part of organizing a shoot very simple. See you next time!

Absolutely loved this space!! So elegant and picture perfect, literally. I rented this space for my maternity shoot and it was absolutely beautiful. Our host had a table, garment rack, & chair available in the space for us to use which definitely came in handy. The lighting was superb even with gloomy skies outside. I cannot wait to see my finished photos. This space was more than I was expecting as far as aesthetics and the overall experience. It was very clean and tidy which made shooting a breeze.
