RENTALS
All rentals must be delivered and picked up during the contracted rental period. Licensee must provide a list of vendors and confirmed delivery times prior to the event. Licensee and their vendors must provide their own equipment and tools (i.e. loading carts, brooms, mops, ladders, hammer, nails, tape etc). Venue is not responsible for providing equipment.
CATERING
Preferred catering vendors and additional information available upon request.
ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
Alcohol must be served by a certified company, self serve is not allowed. For all private functions where alcohol is being hosted, liquor liability insurance is required from the vendor. If a cash bar the organizer must use an approved ABC License vendor.
PARKING
On-site covered parking is available at 308 S Hill Street. There is also metered parking along 3rd, 4th and Hill Streets.
SECURITY
Unified Security is the preferred security company for the venue. One security guard per 100 guests is required for all events. This is arranged and billed separately through the venue. Four hour minimum required.
BATHROOMS
Bathroom attendants are required for events in excess of 100 guests. The number of attendants per event is determined by the event manager. This is arranged and billed through the venue.
THEATRICAL EFFECTS
Open flame candles are not permitted. Hazer, fog machines, confetti cannons and bubble machines are not permitted either.
CLEAN UP
It is the Licensee and vendors’ responsibility to leave the venue in equal or better condition than when it was received. Licensee may dispose of trash in the appropriate receptacles in the loading dock. If trash is not bagged and removed from the venue the licensee will be penalized. All floors must be clean of debris, garbage, food or waste by the end of the rental period. There is a one time $500 fee after the venue is returned. This is required for every event.
DECOR
Licensee must provide a detailed floor plan three (3) weeks prior to event. All lighting and décor must be grounded. Nothing may be clamped or hung from the ceiling without the venues permission. No vinyl or 3M adhesive transfer can be applied to any area on the floor. Gaffing tape and duct tape can only be applied over painter’s tape.
PERMITS
Licensee may be responsible for furnishing a Special Event Permit from the City of Los Angeles if a public event depending on the nature of the event.
