Street parking in downtown Durham is metered during certain days/hours and free during others. If you will be staying for a while, or have to load in a lot of gear, we suggest parking in the lot right behind the building (hourly/daily rates).

1. All bookings require a security deposit of $300 or more. You will not be charged for this in advance. 2. We do not allow smoking of any kind indoor or out, including but not limited to nicotine, tobacco derived products and/or cannabis derived substances, as well as candles, grills, etc. Breaking this rule will incur a $300 fine. 3. No pets. 4. Due to weight restrictions from an engineer, and fire code restrictions, no more than 8 people are allowed to be at the Penthouse (inside and out, total). Breaking this rule may result in eviction and fines. 5. If the apartment is left in an exceptionally messy state, we will charge $40 for every extra hour of cleaning required. 6. Be mindful of noise level; there are offices below the apartment and tenants work all hours. 7. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events. 9. If you notice anything that presents a danger that could result in damage to the location or to any individuals, let us know immediately. 10. No climbing up or down any ladders from the deck. 11. When you make a reservation, you are agreeing to all of the above House Rules.
