About the Space
Sterling Event Space @ 1261 Delaware is a refined, urban venue nestled on a quiet block in the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Denver. It's a five minute walk to the Colorado Convention Center and only three blocks from the Denver Art Museum. There are also new hotels within a short walking distance to easily accommodate out of town guests. The venue is very spacious due to its high vaulted barrel ceiling, a restored garage door entrance and steel truss. The skylights and wood floors generate a magnificent warm light, creating a natural atmosphere perfect for any occasion. The upstairs loft is an eclectic and cosy hideaway, ideal for guests who want to breakaway from the fray and enjoy the warmth of our gaslit fireplace. This venue is the perfect size for intimate dinners, vibrant cocktail parties or large gatherings. I couldn't be happier with this choice of location for our wedding party. The space was beautiful and the variety of areas gave all our guests a spot to sit, mingle, dance, enjoy the band, grab a drink and dine. Elizabeth was beyond helpful and her assistants on the night of the party made sure all the details were perfectly in place. The Sterling Event Space was perfect for our shoot. Elizabeth, the owner, was very responsive when we had questions and concerns, super flexible about our schedule and so kind and helpful on the day of the shoot. She really made it all so much easier for us. The space was very clean and even during COVID times, our crew felt safe. It was also nice and warm inside (great because the day was threatening snow). It has a nice sized parking lot right next door making it easy to park the crew and any trucks we needed.
