About the Space
1000 square foot loft with original 1905 tin ceilings, wood floor and full bay window with amazing light. Furnishings are high end, eclectic and unique featuring textiles, wallpapers, rugs, plants and furniture creating a distinctive environment and offering many prop opportunities. The natural light comes from a large full wall South facing bay window at the front of the space while the back room has two large floor to ceiling windows keeping the whole space well lit all day. The space is divided into one large loft room with an open kitchen and a smaller bedroom with bathroom attached. There is storage loft in the bedroom which is not available for use. The apartment has been featured in T - magazine, The Coveteur, Surf Shack book and Living with Color Book and would be perfect for a fashion or portrait photoshoot or film, TV and advertising. The space is also our residence and is available weekdays only. Weekends upon request.

I rented Shanan's space for a one day shoot and the location was solid. However Shanan's hosting etiquette and behavior left a lot to be desired. After we agreed to do additional time Shanan showed up and passive aggressively yelled at everyone in the space while we were loading out it was counter intuitive and interrupted us leaving in a timely matter. Additionally she's accused people of moving things that had never been touched and hasn't returned or allowed me to pick up an expensive speaker she found that we accidentally left behind. 10000% would not rent from or refer this user again.

I had a photo shoot here and it was wonderful. This space is so beautiful and bright! Just like the description says, there's a huge variety of backdrops and areas that look quite unique and different from each other, so you feel like you get a bunch of locations all in one, but everything is so thoughtful that it's totally cohesive if you want to shoot the whole space too! Shanan was a total dream to work with - very responsive and flexible, and allowed me to see the space beforehand too. This is a great apartment to shoot in if you are looking for something super stylish and unique, but totally real and not just a dressed up set. Loved it!
