Our party maximum is 20. For children’s parties, we require a minimum of a 4 to 1 ratio of kids to adults. Adult supervision is included in the max count of 20. We do have a minimum age requirement of 5 years old. Note that the host will be signing a liability waiver and it is expected that the host has addressed the risk of entering the cat cottage with all guardians, both in attendance and not in attendance, prior to the event date.
Cat cottage rules will be covered with all attendees prior to entrance. We hold the right to ask guest(s) to leave in the event our rules are not followed. We will give prior warning, before asking guest to exit, but it is critical to the health and safety of the cats that these rules and warnings are taken seriously. Only food and beverages purchased from our cafe are allowed into the Cat Cottage. However, we do allow birthday cakes in for those celebrating birthdays.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
This coffeehouse is Houston's only cat cafe, partnered with Friends for Life. Our mission is to provide a comfortable environment for adoptable cats until they find their furrever home. Guests enjoy a relaxing environment and plenty of cat therapy. Yes, you'll enjoy the company of 15-18 resident cats who live in the cottage until they are adopted. We offer private rentals for birthdays, bachelorette parties, graduations etc. The space can also be rented for photoshoots and for filming. We encourage renting the space on Monday or Wednesday for photoshoots and filming due to the longer duration of these bookings. The cottage is a renovated bungalow with mid-century modern décor. The café is located in our owned and operated food truck adjacent to the cottage. You can elect for us to operate the food truck for a minimum food/ beverage order of $50.

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
