All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
Beautiful loft studio space conveniently located in Downtown LA. Use it as a studio for your next photoshoot or as a basecamp for shooting around downtown LA. Perfect for: - Photo shoots - Wardrobe Style Out, Fitting, Staging, Shoot Staging - Basecamp - Small film / video productions or as a basecamp / staging location for film production - Trunk show / sample sale - In-house photo assistant available if needed. Features: - Corner unit with two walls of north east facing windows = beautiful soft natural light - Located on the 4th floor with no surrounding buildings blocking light - 10ft wide freight elevator open directly to studio entrance making for easy load in/out - Conveniently located near 10 freeway - Plenty of cheap, 4 hour meter parking as well as parking lots 2 blocks away Also great to gather a small - medium group of people. Parking description
The parking spaces directly in front are 2-hour parking but across the street is 4-hour parking. There's more street parking on Santee and on 16th street. There's a parking lot at 1400 Santee St. (14th and Santee, 1.5 blocks away)

Lighting description
NE corner on the fourth floor and no buildings nearby to obstruct the light. The long wall of windows face North. There is a white building across the street that reflects light into the N facing windows in the afternoon.
The windows behind the couch has some kind of frosting or diffusion (maybe just old and dirty) that makes it possible to shoot subjects in the sitting area without the windows being super blown out.
The light is consistently soft and diffuse all day with enough light to shoot handheld. The light varies slightly throughout the day but overall it's pretty consistent. Great for portraits, still life, product, and video work.
Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
Building is fairly empty so there is little to no noise from neighbors. There is typical street noise (cars, delivery trucks, sirens) but it is not a very busy street. There is an AC that makes normal AC sound. If you need a very quiet space with very little ambient noise, this is not the place for you.

Equipment loading description
Freight elevator is accessed through the alley behind the building. The loading area has a giant opening so you can roll all your equipment right into the freight elevator. The freight elevator is really big and opens right up into the studio. The studio has double doors making load in and load really easy. I once had a vintage motorcycle brought up into the studio and it was very easy.

General Rules
No late night parties. Video productions must be discussed before booking. DO NOT book this space to shoot your music video without checking in with me first.
Equipment is not included in the rental. If you need some c-stands or lights please inquire after you've booked the space.
All ages are allowed in the space
Production insurance is required
Smaller production don't require insurance, bigger ones do. Please communicate with me to describe what kind of shoot you are doing and for what kind of client. Be honest.
Furniture and decorations may be moved
Treat my space and my stuff as if it were your own (or your parents!) and everything should be fine.

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
