Great event space. We had about 15 people for my wife's birthday party, but the space would definitely be comfortable for 25 people. Pros -Small kitchen in the back with a mini stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, sink. (not pictured) -The space has a private bathroom (not pictured) -Three TVs with standard cable (they also get the music stations so we had them on for background music) -Although the pool deck isn't part of the private space, we used the BBQ grill on the pool deck which was a nice bonus. -Plenty of tables and couches for lounging -Property let us see the space prior to our event. Give them a call and schedule a time to see the event space so you can plan logistics in advance -About a 7-10min walk from the Mountain View Caltrain station/downtown Mountain View Cons -The pool table was missing a ball. If this matters to you, I'd connect with the property to ensure they've replaced the missing ball -You have to give your guests instructions on how to find space since it is not easily visible from the street -Finding a place to dump our trash within the property took a bit of time to figure out. Make sure to bring your own trash bags. -The leasing office closed at 5:30pm on Saturday, so if you are having a Saturday night event, you may need to arrange to pick up the keys prior to when they close. Overall, we enjoyed the space. If you're looking for a space within a reasonable budget, this is a great option.

Very poor experience with Peerspace and this host, in particular. My calls and emails to this host to ask how I was supposed to gain entrance into the venue were never returned, so I assumed someone would be onsite to let us in the way their other location does. Unfortunately, I was wrong and no one was there to let us in. I called the emergency maintenance number and was told they couldn't help me, but did contact the site manger who happened to be onsite visiting a relative and let my group in 40 minutes later. The manager offered to refund me for an hour, but then wouldn't return my emails or calls to process the refund. When she finally answered her phone weeks later, she said she'd contact Peerspace to refund me for the cost of 2 full hours for my trouble. She then contacted me telling me she had put in the refund request but doubted they'd actually refund me, so she offered me free use of the space for 5 hours within the next 3 months. When I wrote back to ask if the offer could be extended beyond 3 months because of COVID19, she never responded. I contacted Peerspace and was told they had no record of the host requesting the refund and contacted the host themselves and received no response either, and said they couldn't refund my money without the host's ok. Obviously, I am disgusted with this host's behavior, but will also never use Peerspace again, as I don't see how they'd refuse a refund to make up for how poorly one of their hosts treated one of their customers.
