All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
This listing is for a full-buyout of an elegant event and co-working space in the heart of Detroit for people to work, write and create. It's decorated like a living room with artwork by local artists and memorabilia from Detroit history. Please inquire via Peerspace messaging if you're interested. By day, members and guests have access to professional writing coaches who can offer feedback and editing for business materials or literary works such as fiction, nonfiction, essays and poetry. We work with preferred caterers for food and drink, but also allow individuals to bring in their own catering. The Space: The venue is 2,500 square feet and can fit up to 130 people for a strolling event. There is free street parking on Sundays. Otherwise it is $1 per hour Monday through Saturday. There are also nearby parking garages.
General Rules
If you are serving alcohol, you must work with Sumptuous Spirits, which is a mobile bartending company that comes with a liquor license. You can purchase alcohol through them or bring your own for them to serve.
Guests are responsible for covering costs of any damage to furniture, technology, decor or other items in the space.

Grace period
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
