About the Space

WE ARE CURRENTLY OPEN, WE ARE TAKING EXTRA PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES FOR BOOKINGS. Our creative studio offers 500 square feet of rentable open store front space, located in the Fashion District of DTLA. The 500 square foot space has open lofty 25' ceilings and is minimally decorated to serve as the perfect platform for you to show off your art whether that is on canvas, prints, sculptures, or your new fashion line. Please be sure to read our listing from top to bottom (including rules) and confirm with Host that you've done so. Do not message asking if the space is available without introducing yourself, your team, and your intentions of renting the space. - equipment and furniture not included - check out the add-on's section for rentable items - if you'd like to bring furniture and decor, that is fine - however please confirm with the Host during booking process for APPROVAL. - NO ALCOHOL OR NUDITY!! - portable AC and mini fridge use included - additional 500 rentable square feet available *DISCUSS WITH HOST* this feature is not always available and will increase the pricing! You will be greeted personally by our on-site manager at time of booking to help get you situated. This on-site manager will be present in case you need any assistance throughout your booking. We are super down to earth people that have rules and expectations for those who utilize our space - TRANSPARENCY, communication, and details are KEY to a successful booking for both you and ourselves. Please be honest and transparent. See attached floor plan, in images, to get a better understanding and feel of the rentable layout. During booking process, please confirm how you see the layout by downloading our floor plan and adding your notes/layout preference/visual idea of booking. Our images do not do this location justice - we will continue to take new and better photos to reflect this space as it grows and changes with us. Booking time requested must account for 1st person in and the last person out. The booking includes the entire time needed in space including set up and breakdown. PLEASE GO BACK AND UPDATE YOUR INQUIRY REQUEST TO REFLECT TIME IN AND TIME OUT. Our on-site manager will meet you at the location to check you in and check you out. We can't let you in early and we can't let you leave late without charging accordingly - if this happens, we will update the Peerspace price. If you arrive late, I'm sorry but that doesn't mean you get to stay later. Catering, food, and vendors are allowed HOWEVER approved by Host - please share details with Host in order to be considered. ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED. Any of these items brought in without approval is subject to additional fees and banned from our location for bookings. An on-site manager WILL BE THERE. CITY, STATE, AND COUNTY LAWS: (YOU MUST COMPLY) Renter agrees to comply with all applicable City, County, State, and Federal laws and shall conduct no illegal act on the premises. Renter shall not sell alcohol on premises at any time. Renter may not serve alcohol to minors on the premises at any time. Renter agrees, for everyone’s safety, to ensure event is held in a responsible manner. We reserve the right, in our exclusive discretion, to expel anyone who in its judgment is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who shall in any manner do or participate in any act jeopardizing the rights, use permit, or insurability of our staff, guests, or building contents. Liability insurance thru "theeventhelper.com" is mandatory for all rentals of the space (Unless you have a company with an insurance plan that can issue insurance certificates). It is very easy to book online. This covers you as the renter/host in case of anyone getting hurt at your party, you are then covered. PLEASE CONFIRM "CERTIFICATE HOLDER" DETAILS TO BE ADDED TO YOUR INSURANCE POLICY - You do not use your details, our information is added! FOR ALL BOOKINGS, guests must provide proof of liability insurance AT THE TIME OF BOOKING!! For ALL BOOKINGS, guests must provide proof of liability insurance AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. NO SMOKING ALLOWED ANYWHERE INDOORS!! YOU WILL BE FINED $300 IF WE FIND OUT SMOKING OCCURS, USE OF SAND, GLITTER, AND/OR CONFETTI, OVERUSE OF SCENTS AND STRONG PERFUMES/COLOGNE, ETC. If on-site manager approves something being used day of, then there will not be any issues. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. IF WE THINK THERE IS A PARTY GOING TO HAPPEN OR HAPPENED DURING BOOKING - RENTEE/GUEST(S) WILL ALL BE BANNED FROM VENUE FOR FUTURE USAGE AND FINED $1000. NO LOITERING OR LITTERING OUTSIDE THE VENUE. Cleaning fee is used to sanitize floors, windows, walls, furniture, trash removal, etc to restore venue to original condition and to comply with COVID-19 rules. Rentee/Guest(s) must be respectful of venue and others (neighbors) etc. Please be honest and transparent, if something happens and/or breaks, spills, etc - please make sure the Host or on-site manager is made aware DURING BOOKING! Host and/or on-site manager WILL be onsite during booking in upstairs personal office space. If this occurs, host(s) will use rear entry during time of booking. All personal belongings and rentals must be removed from venue by the end of event. Any items left past time of booking will be thrown away, no access to retrieve. Please do not leave anything behind, we are not responsible for personal belongings or rentals. RENTALS — if you plan to have rentals delivered and picked up - Guest must submit plan confirming how and when rentals will be removed prior to the day of the event, without negotiation. Under no circumstances can trash be left outside anywhere of the venue, please use trash bags properly in large 30 gallon cans provided. EQUIPMENT AND FURNITURE: some of our equipment and furniture is movable. We are happy to adjust the layout of the venue to suit your event, however for all events to occur, a floor plan must be confirmed with host ONE WEEK prior to event date. Guests under no circumstances are permitted to move or drag equipment and/or furniture around on day of event. Any damage caused to and/or furniture will result in additional charges. PLEASE NOTE that we will follow and implement platform guidelines for all bookings and for overtime that guest will be charged 1.5 times the hourly rate without negotiation.
