About the Space

Space is great for parties, meetings, showers and special occasion events. Open floor plan, with two sides accessible to large open Bar style Kitchen with commercial appliances, no stove. Two burner commercial electric plug in burner available, please inquire. Coffee machine and Hot water kettle available upon request. One side furnished with tables and seating for dining. Lounge side has cushy chairs, sofas and lounge seats. Exposed brick walls and wood floors. Commercial zoned with large outdoor deck for with tables/seating for entertaining off Gratiot Ave. Also there is additional space in the basement. Free parking available, in walking distance to Eastern Market. ** As of July 1, 2023 there will be a 2nd restroom on the main floor.

Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable gloves
  • Disposable masks / face coverings
  • Hand Sanitizer

This space is absolutely wonderful. I had my graduation celebration there this weekend and I couldn’t speak more positively about this rental. My mom did wish there was a way to keep all the food we had warm but outside of that this is the perfect space. The host Teresa as well as her daughter are wonderful, very responsive, and very kind! We will utilize this space again! This space is as advertised-the photos don’t do it justice. Everyone loved it! Highly recommend !

This space was great for my wife's 40th bday, the decor was amazing- with minimal decorating needed!!! and the host was exceptional- i would recommend to any one looking for a cool artsy, eclectic venue with all the amenities needed to put on a great party/celebration/launch/gathering! Reasons to book!!! *Bar *dimmable lights to change vibe of space * great decor- Warehouse/ Ultra Lounge Feel *industrial refrigerator /freezer/ icemaker were a definite bonus *clean *additional space in basement *safe - well lit building *plenty of parking *GREAT HOST - excellent at answering questions and adressing concerns 5 STARS all-around

Yes, I would book again.

This is event space was very nice and my guest enjoyed the ambience. I enjoyed myself and will rent it again. The only issue, it was only one bathroom and it was downstairs.
