About the Space

The Urban Jungle brings you back to the 50s Diner with this fully decorated loft. We are located in the heart of Downtown LA, same building as The Last Bookstore. This loft features a 1330 sq ft single-story floor plan.The loft also features a kitchen (non-functional) and car (non-functional), unique furniture and different one-of-a-kind decors. There are WiFi, portable A/C inside the loft, as well as paid parking lots next to the building. All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Great Space to shoot!! So many great props and everything looks so incredibly real. Felt exactly like a real diner! Easy to get in and out, bathrooms nearby, parking right outside the entrance. Nice part is the windows face a building that looks very European for a really nice added touch. We got some really Fabulous shots here!

The space was beautiful and it worked exactly what we needed it for. The props and the lights are great for the retro diner look. The only unfortunate circumstance was the host's utter lack of response and communication. I messaged and texted her on 4 separate occasions and received radio silence. The only time I heard from the host was an HOUR before our booking time with instructions on how to get in. Location was great. The process was not as enjoyable.

Second time using this space. Everything worked out great! Arriving and entering the space was smooth. Client loved the space as well.

The space was versatile, lit well, had prop food and utensils which was totally unexpected but SUPER helpful. And the building guard was super nice and helpful.
