About the Space
The Urban Jungle brings you back to the 50s Diner with this fully decorated loft. We are located in the heart of Downtown LA, same building as The Last Bookstore. This loft features a 1330 sq ft single-story floor plan.The loft also features a kitchen (non-functional) and car (non-functional), unique furniture and different one-of-a-kind decors. There are WiFi, portable A/C inside the loft, as well as paid parking lots next to the building. - Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The check-in process was very easy. Host was communicative and sent all proper information prior to the shoot. The location will save you money on finding props and wardrobe for waiter which is a huge plus.
The check-in process was very easy. Host was communicative and sent all proper information prior to the shoot. The location will save you money on finding props and wardrobe for waiter which is a huge plus.
We had a disappointing and frustrating experience. At the beginning, Debbie was responsive to us and great about answering our questions in a timely manner. When my group showed up to the space, the place was covered in garbage from the last group there. The tables and floors were sticky, and there were empty bottles of alcohol and piles of food scattered including pizza and pizza boxes, and burgers and fries. We only had the space booked for 2 hours, and so we immediately started to clean and notified Debbie who sent a rep over. After 30 minutes of my team compiling the garbage, the rep showed up and cleaned the rest of the garbage up and took it, but the place was still very dirty and sticky and we lost an hour of our time (only had two hours booked for a content shoot). We asked kindly for a partial refund of the time we lost, Debbie refused and offered for us to stay later instead. We explained that though most of the garbage was picked up, the place needed a scrub and there were parts of it that we could not work with due to the stickiness and we would appreciate not having to adjust our time and expectations. After that, she stopped responding to our messages. It's too bad, we really liked the space and would have liked to come back but we will be seeking someplace else next time.
