All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
NEWLY RENOVATED AND RE-OPENED OCTOBER 2021 This once a bustling Main Street retail front on Denver's west side is now an all open format, natural light space perfect for natural light photoshoots, film projects, music videos or a location to simply shoot content in a natural light-filled space! Meno Home Studios is a working furniture design studio space in Denver’s Barnum neighborhood. This bright, open gallery space houses a rotating collection of vintage and luxury furnishings and art. Meno Home Studios is excellent, freshly renovated space for select creative events and gatherings as well. The space is 1700 square feet with a completely wide open interior. There are no pillars or columns, just vast, bright space! The floors are an opaque, light cream gloss epoxy. Some of the original concrete interior walls remain exposed and textural now painted a matte white. The ceiling and several new walls are freshly sheet rocked with a smooth finish, also painted matte white. The ceiling will have 24 soft-white LED fixtures. There is an ADA complaint bathroom with 10 ft ceilings. Please note there are also double back doors with a ramp for loading and unloading equipment. The large Travertine stone table shown in the images is in the space and is not movable. It weighs over 500 pounds. Please do not try to move as serious injury can occur. All other art pedestals, furniture or props can be moved and arranged as desired. This space used to be a stained glass studio so there are a few mirrored and glass elements, like the front door, left in the space (perfect experimental photography!) There is also parking onsite for up to 5 cars on the property and three more on the street in front. The building can be accessed from the front, single door which also has a craftsman-style stained glass relic still installed as well as the back double doors once inside. There is a working furnace and thermostat so you don't have to freeze your buns off. We also now have fiber internet with gig speeds.

My property includes a parking area against the east wall. There is space for up to 5 small cars. There is also additional street parking directly in front of the building facade/ front door.

Lighting description
There is a wall of storefront windows on the South facade of the property that receive ample natural light year round. There are no tall buildings close by to block the windows. There are floor to ceiling ivory linen curtains in the windows that softly diffuse the sunlight when closed. There are also three small, high windows spaced along the east wall. Those do not have curtains or blinds, but can be covered if needed. To achieve a dark setting, an evening shoot is recommended.
Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
1st Avenue is not super busy, however the sidewalk is shallow, so if large vehicles drive by you can hear some road noise. New glass and windows were recently installed in the building which has reduced road noise significantly. This is a street level studio, however so pedestrians, emergency vehicles and louder vehicles can be heard on occasion.

Equipment loading description
The property has parking along the east wall for up to five vehicles. The back side (North wall) of the property also can be parked along. The North wall has a set of double metal doors that can be used for loading and unloading. We recommend using a rubber wheel dolly as the loading ramp inside is steep.

Electrical system description
There are 11 interior wall outlets. Almost each wall has one or two except for one corner in the open space.
There are 24 interior, in-celling lights which are new soft white LED can fixtures. These are all controlled with smart switches as well as manual controls on the back wall near the electrical panel.
The panel is located on the north wall behind the white curtains just outside of the restroom.
