Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Come and create magic at Studio Eclipse. Soak up the light in this 1920s remodeled gem located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Thanks to its east facing windows, this stylish loft offers fantastic views of the sunrise and fills the space with sunlight and ambiance. Exposed brickwork, concrete ceilings, the spiral staircase, and slick kitchen cabinetry add the perfect balance between rustic and modern. The loft is in the heart of the Los Angeles Downtown area, an absolutely eclectic place full of energy, culture and excitement for every personality. This energy is reflected in every corner of the space. Make it yours! Please make sure to read all the rules, and feel free to ask any questions you may have. Cheers! Parking description

We have excellent parking options: 1. Extremely convenient, right across from our building on Spring street: 710 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90014 - Price varies but it's affordable. 2. Unified Parking, entrance on Main Street next the little Meatzilla restaurant. This one is right on our corner as well. 644 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90014 - Price varies but it's affordable 3. For longer stays, this 5 story parking structure charges a fixed fee of $15 every 24hrs. This one is a block away. 545 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Lighting description

Natural light is abundant from early morning to afternoon. There are black-out roller blinds that cover most on the sun light, but it is not full blackout. Please do not hesitate to inquire with questions.

Equipment loading description

There is a loading zone in front of the building and an alley immediately adjacent to the main entrance. The alley called Harlem PL is very convenient and hassle free.

The kitchen area often used for staging.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Any locked area is off-limits and you should not try to enter.

Shooting the exterior of the building is not allowed

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

Please be prepared to keep noise low. NO LOUD MUSIC ALLOWED. Make sure to leave the loft exactly like you found it. You will receive a check-out check-list to follow before exiting the space. No crew members outside the loft, this means no access anywhere in the building outside the loft's door. No alcohol, drugs, sex or violence at anytime. No smoking inside or through the window. No smog machine. No parties allowed. No small particles allowed. No animals or pets of any size allowed at any time. No entering the private areas or the storage spaces. Things in the kitchen are not for public consumption. Violation of the rules is subject to a $500 fine. Mess left behind may result in full cleaning fee of $150. Thank you!

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Please ask before moving anything, light fixtures and wall art cannot be moved or tampered with. Make sure things are left exactly as you found them and proceed with care if given permission to move things around--any damages will be directly charged to your account.

Security cameras and recording devices

There are security cameras at the door and main areas. These are to ensure the safety and integrity of the space. Please use the bathroom as private dressing room if needed.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Yes, I would book again.

Did a small photoshoot in the apartment, the host was very responsive which was helpful. The afternoons can get very hot with no ac in summer, should be great though any other time of the year.

Beautiful Space. You can go through 3 hours quick here. Windows give good light but still balanced with lights. Bedroom upstairs needs 2 strobes. Very happy with results.

The loft was very clean and had tons of natural light coming from the windows. The booking process was smooth, albeit the building is not the most comfortable to find and try to get access to. The loft does not have any air conditioning but the air from the windows and the small fans around the place were enough to be comfortable enough for a photoshoot. All in all I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a simple/barebones place for a quick shoot

I needed a last minute location to film a scene and Enrique was extremely helpful! Very quick to accommodate and the space was great — one thing to note is depending on the position of the sun you may need to bring in a light or two to fill your subject because otherwise they’ll be backlit. Besides that, awesome space.
