About the Space
Vintage Laguna Beach cottage perched at the edge of an open greenspace canyon with expansive, unobstructed ocean views from Palos Verdes to Dana Point. Wide invisible folding glass doors connect the living room and dining room/kitchen to the west facing decks for an unparalleled coastline and sunset view of Catalina Island, Pacific Ocean and coastal city lights. The interior is 1100 sq ft of classic shabby chic bohemian surf cottage motif. Vintage white wood plank walls, hardwood floors, and high beamed ceilings loaded with built-in cabinets and funky angled glass that floods each room with natural light. The main house has two bedrooms, one bath and fireplaces in the living room and kitchen. Living room, galley kitchen, and small dining room (with long wood hewn banquet table + 8 chairs)) all boast spectacular coastline horizon, white-water, & PCH views. Very private end of street location with 4+ street parking spaces directly in front. Expansive decking surrounds, including weathered redwood catwalk leading to separate artist's treehouse nestled amongst the trees facing the Pacific. Secluded back building artist's treehouse boasts dark plank wood walls, high beamed ceilings, and large windows with ocean views. Vintage surfboards, years of vintage California paraphernalia, and even a hidden copper bootlegger still give a feel of old coastal California. This space is perfect for scenes in a magical bohemian surf cottage perched on the edge of a secluded green canyon with a dramatic Pacific ocean back-drop.

This was a really unique spot with incredible views! The hosts were lovely and very accomodating. We had a short notice deadline and they helped us get everything we needed to make our shoot happen!

Space looked better in person and our small wedding reception via zoom was incredible thanks to the wondeful space and especially a great host. Will definitely consider in the future and recommend to anyone looking for a great private space in Laguna Beach. Thank you!

Can't say enough about what a great experience we had at this location. Gus was incredibly accomodating on short notice and patient with a lot of moving pieces that came with our shoot. This place really is magical and the photos just can't do it justice. If you're looking for a perfect location to embody the beauty of Laguna Beach, you've found the right place. Additionally, what's not shown in the photos is the beautiful view from Gus's driveway. It's truly a perfect spot for any car shoot or coastal driveaway scene. An incredible space to create. Can't say enough and would recommend it to anyone looking to create an authentic coastal mood.
