All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

Well-situated in near-east Austin and tucked into a neighborhood south of Mueller, our cidery was converted from an old historic mortuary into a production cidery and tasting room. The tasting room can accommodate up to 60 people standing or 40 people sitting indoors and the outdoor patio area can accommodate 50 people seated and many more standing. The space features two bathrooms, free wifi, projector and sound system (with speakers inside and outside) and optional walk-in cooler space. Ample parking included. Outside food and drink are allowed. If you would like offerings from the tasting room, please book a server for $25/hr. There is no food/beverage minimum for this service. We offer many cider and non-alcoholic options as well as some light food fare. Please see menu in photos for details. ************************** Pricing: *Bookings have a 3 hour minimum. 1-14 people $85hr 15-29 people $95 hour. 30-44 people. $105 hour 45-60 people. $115 hr **Add an additional 95$ per hour during operating hours. Server is an additional $25 an hour (if booking for part of the event, then please specify the exact time they should work). ***All bookings during operating hours must be within the beginning or the end of the shift. Meaning, you either book during the opening hours, the closing, or all day, but not in the middle of operating hours. Cleaning fee is $40 Operating hours: Fri 1p - 9p Sat 1p - 9p Sun 1p - 7p

This is a small space which greatly concerned me at first--no worries! MoonTower could not have been better!! The personnel were reactive, positive, helpful and totally flexible in every regard. The room is clean and easily re-arrangeable to suit any need. Benjamin was incredibly supportive, and so was all of the staff. Further, my purse was accidentally left behind, and one staff member (I can't remember his name) took time to search for it--even through the garbage bin. These people are the best, and the cider is remarkably delicious. All of our guests were delighted!

Yes, I would book again.

Booked this for our team meeting and had a great time. We tasted several ciders and Ben helped me out with a few things I forgot. I didn't think to ask for coffee since its a cider place but if you do an early morning business meeting they do have coffee - it just takes forever to warm up the machine so plan in advance!

Yes, I would book again.

This was the perfect home base for our 2-day business event. Both the indoor and outdoor space was great, the technology worked very seamlessly, and having access to sinks, fridge space, a coffee maker, and bathrooms for our group was great.

Yes, I would book again.

Our experience was excellent, we loved the place from the beginning. I booked it for my daughter's engagement party and the owner Benjamin was a terrific host, he answered all our question promptly even when we added another hour at the last minute. Our guest enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere inside and out. That my guests want to book it for their events. I would definitely book again for any event. My daughter and my fiance loved the place, and I will be going as a customer to enjoy his ciders which are a treat. Thank you again for making my children event memorable.
